Services
At Dolphin Tribe, we believe every child deserves to live an emotionally contented life to its full potential. We want to make this a reality by providing holistic, family-focused mental health services that help children and new mothers with mental health challenges, alleviate suffering and thrive.
We treat each other, our customers and the community in the same considerate and dignified way that we would wish to be treated ourselves. We are passionate about mental health and bring this passion into our practice. We believe strongly in early intervention and the importance of an holistic approach to psychiatry.
Having a baby is a big life event - it is natural to experience a range of emotions during and after your pregnancy. However, there are a number of mental health conditions unique to the perinatal period where it's important to seek professional help. Depression - The 'Baby Blues' - feeling sad, teary or irritable in the early days after birth - is normal; if these symptoms persist after two weeks, it could be more serious.
Unfortunately, children are not immune from mental health challenges. But our family-focused services help children, adolescents and teenagers understand their emotions and give them the tools to turn limitations into strengths. Mental health is a result of biological, psychological, social and cultural factors, which is why we look at the full picture to create a tailor-made treatment plan.

The staff at reception is absolutely herendous and holds no standards as to what good service is. Other staff at this facility comes off as petty and unprofessional as they refused a referral with no reason and decline to answer any questions whatsoever when I tried to contact them.

One of a few child psychiatrists in Sydney. Our GP sent a referral as a high priority and it was declined with no feedback. In a system that is already challenging to navigate, it is even worse that children with acute psychiatric needs are turned away without any care or support. We were not even recommended an alternate service to support our child.
