Brad is an absolute master craftsman. I had my wedding dress custom made for my May wedding, and it couldn’t have been more perfect. I asked Brad, whose work I have walked past and stared at in awe since I was… a teenager, if he could design something I had in mind and he kindly and generously obliged. He meticulously crafted my gown with the utmost attention to detail, moulding the bodice to me, choosing the gorgeous Italian lace, and complimenting it with a matching cathedral length veil. A true labour of love and work of art.

Brad and Belinda were wonderful, and the dress they produced was amazing. I came to them 10 days before the wedding after there was an emergency with shipping and I was left without a dress. They were able to create a dress in time using an existing skirt and remaking a fitted bodice. The results were incredible and I could not recommend them enough. My whole experience with them was smooth and comfortable, and the pricing was very reasonable considering the quality of their dresses and the work put in. They turned what was the most traumatic part of the wedding preparation into a wonderful experience

I will, forever, cherish my bridal gown experience with Brad. He took such good care of me and, also, my beautiful Mum for my big day. My dress was absolutely gorgeous (tulle, French lace and a side bow with… long tails) and I felt simply wonderful in it. His craftsmanship is just superb. I loved every step of the journey with Brad. It was a real pleasure to work with him on the most important dress of my life. Honestly, I couldn’t have done it without him! I would recommend him to all!

My dress from Darb (“Billie”) was everything I ever dreamed of, and my experience, from beginning to end, was nothing short of perfect. Every fitting was filled with fun, and - although I was definitely a more… anxious bride - Brad always made me feel comfortable and happy; nothing was too much trouble. I still can’t help but walk past his shop window every so often to spy on his latest creations, and to reminisce!

Brad was a true delight to work with. From our initial concept design meeting, to the day I picked up my wedding dress, he was so kind, hard working and a true master of design! Having a dress made specifically for you and your shape is exactly what a wedding dress should be, and the price was more affordable than I expected. Cannot recommend enough!

I can’t recommend Darb bridal more highly. From the first time I went to view dresses, the Darb team made me feel completely at ease. The quality of their dresses is absolutely beautiful, and it is lovely that they are made locally in Brisbane. The process of having the dress made has been a joy. Brad is so patient, and has always happily made alterations and adjustments to make the dress exactly as I wanted it (all included in the upfront price). I met Brad 15 years ago when he designed my wedding dress, and I still love his work work as much now, as I did back then. He not only designed my dress many years ago, bit has also created many other pieces for me over the years. His creativeness, passion and attention to detail is still on point - couldn't recommend him enough!

I couldn't have been more thrilled with the custom designed wedding dress Brad made for me. He worked tirelessly for over a year on both my engagement outfit and wedding dress. My favourite part of wedding planning was going into Darb to have a laugh and chat about everything. It has been almost 5 months since my wedding and I still like to pop into Darb whenever I am in the city for a catchup! Highly recommend Darb for anyone looking for gorgeous couture as well as genuinely lovely staff
