Direct Couriers operates in Sydney, Melbourne, Brisbane, Perth and Adelaide in Australia and Auckland in New Zealand. We provide a wide spectrum of courier and taxi truck services for local same day delivery as well as Interstate and International delivery services. Our website booking system also offers a range of address database options, pre-delivery notifications and delivery confirmations by either email and/or SMS.
In its early years Direct Couriers ran a fleet of 20 vehicles consisting of mainly cars and hatch backs, servicing the advertising agencies, TV stations and the post production companies. The Sydney branch back then was based in the Lower North Shore as majority of the client base were close by.
With its new owners, the business changed its direction and expanded the operation to offer a Taxi Truck service as well as Interstate and International packages.Its niche to provide custom built technology and client solutions were born at this early stage. Direct Couriers needed a mode to differentiate itself from its competitors.

To meet the needs of our customers, we offer a national fleet of tautliner and flat top semi-trailers. For all your one off, regular run or Hot Shot deliveries, we have the right vehicle to meet your needs. You get full visibility through our Live GPS tracking system and additionally you can receive a pick up, nearby (when the driver is within 6km of delivery) and POD alerts via email or sms.

I was informed with an SMS that my order is picked up for delivery. I was provided live tracking of vehicle and it was accurate. My delivery driver was Andrew (273). Attempted delivery without notice and I wasn't on site. Ok, my fault and I had to (pre)paid for re-delivery the next day. Next day, I specifically went on site and waited a whole day, no show. Late afternoon I chase up and was told delivery won't happen today and assured me it will be delivered tomorrow. Next day, I specifically go on site again and waited another day, no show again. What a joke.

Had a 30kg+ mattress left in the foyer of a small apartment block and was told ' I'm sure you have mates' that can help me bring it to my unit door, up two flights of stairs. Lovely service during a lockdown. Checked with mattress company - they were supposed to deliver to my unit door. Deplorable service.

I had a parcel delivered today because only 1 of 2 parcels were delivered. My call was promptly answered by a lovely lady named Lou. After giving her as many details, tracking numbers etc Lou asked me if I was sure I had the right company? Even suggesting the correct company that might have made the delivery. Upon closer inspection of the label on the parcel I discovered she was correct, I had in fact rung the wrong company. Lou then offered to help me out with their number. I send a shipment to my customer once a month with Direct Couriers. Booked this shipment online with their site and on the Friday (day of collection) was called by the team to say they were extremely busy and couldn't get a driver to me. While my customer was not happy we agreed to change it to the following Wednesday.

Terrible experience. The driver drove to the business address. Didn't event bother to go to Level 2 to reception as indicated on the delivery label, and didn't call the phone number provided, just drove off and Marked it (Business Closed), call the office 4 minutes after he marked it online as Closed, stayed on hold for about 20 minutes to be told, no promises the driver will re deliver, we need to get in touch with him and call you back. 5 hours later, no call back, I called again to be told, we just got in touch with the driver and he wont be going back... its Friday, I have to wait to Monday

Ive been using direct couriers for years now and developed a great business relationship with them. They go out of their way to assist and most of their drivers are really lovely. Ive used other companies in the past but have stuck with this one for years and wont change. No one is perfect but these guys are the best Ive used. A huge thanks for helping me out this christmas with my gift delivery - what they did was amazing and saved me so much time.

Driver attempted to deliver earlier than the agreed time, then we communicated about the time I would be home.
No response to multiple attempts of communication.
Ecosa confirmed redelivery for the following evening and the driver took the mattress back to the warehouse earlier that day.
Two nights sleeping on the floor because of their bad service and ineptitude.
I would not buy from any company using this courier.
