I purchased a mattress wihich was faulty the mattress was not cheap i phoned to tell them about it and they send a rep some months later
i was then told the mattress needed to go back for repair and to find another one in the house to sleep on whilst this happened . Long story short they had to loan me some second hand one !
some months later i call up about my mattress only to be told its at the store. I still dont know if the mattress is fixed or its new or its someone elses second hand mattress they didnt like . days later after my email following up the mattress i get a message from the store

Rang yesterday, left my details regarding the king koil chiro response plush mattress I purchased.wanted to discuss why it has such a strong odour being brand new from forty winks. The store assured me there would be no smell yet the whole house wreaks of this mattress which I have not used yet. Noone has bothered to call me back after leaving a message and registering my 'new matress' . Very appauled with this customer service being an Australian owned family business. Will be taking this further if I don't get a response. Read there conditions as well. Will charge a call out fee if found that

Purchased a mattress from bev marks 2.5 years ago, 2 years in and the sides have given way, but because there is some staining on the mattresd they are saying that's voided the warranty and say they can't repair it due to sanitary reasons. Ok, but under consumer law if something is faulty within its warranty period the manufacturer is required to wither repair, replace or refund !
The stains do not prevent you from replacing or refunding as the product is faulty.
This will be taken further, 2000 spent is disgusting !

Never purchase a A.H Beard product we purchased a mattress and after 2 years it has gone from being super firm to super soft with heavy indentation. after sending photos of the mattress clearly showing the faults we are told they still need to come out and inspect the mattress to make sure there are no stains clearly they have not herd of photography. In the meantime I have had to take time off work and am taking pain killers for my back.

Poor quality from the get go! Purchased a Domino Body Balance Serenity Plush Mattress 7 years ago and not long into use, the support was giving way. After constantly experiencing back pain, I decided to finally make use off the manufacturers warranty which the mattress was still well within. A technician came to assess my mattress who said it was well within tolerance, even though the dips in the mattress were noticeable from a far distance. While A H Beard would still honour the warranty, I was advised I would need to pay freight of over $100 to pick up the current mattress and return, dry clean

We purchased our Bed & Mattress about 5 yrs ago, I now can't wait to get rid of it. The impressions are very significant and have now become really uncomfortable. For AH Beard to say this is general wear & tear is rubbish, our old Queen Bed which we had used for 10yrs does not have these impressions in it. NOT HAPPY WITH THIS PRODUCT !!

Purchased an AH Beard 'Plush' mattress that is just awful. After a few weeks of using the bed I called and explained that I was sure the product we chose in the showroom and what was delivered was not the same thing. They explained the bed needs 'breaking in' and I agreed to do so by giving it a few more months.... what a mistake! This bed is still as hard as floorboards! We wanted to support local and Australian manufacturing and we are really distressed and disappointed with the outcome of this purchase.
