Valence D'Agen is one of our favourite stops when we cruise along the canal du Lateral a la Garonne to Bordeaux and we tend to stay here for around a week. The weekly market here is one of the best and a huge favourite with us. You just can't help but love it as it stretches around the central square and nearby streets.
Naturally all that food puts all thoughts of diet out of the window so we come here to sit and relax over a mid day meal.

This café sells lots of delicious local produce. The service is prompt and very friendly. The 4 of us tried 4 different dinners including duck and seafood, and 4 different desserts. All fantastic.
