I was recommended to this firm for my daughter who needed a will and was purchasing her first home.
On behalf of my daughter, I had several dealings with Catherine McKenzie who handled the purchase. I found her very professional and friendly.

Had a very bad experience with this firm in 1996 with a Cathy McKenzie and Mr Croaker. My loan for house was refused and I lost nearly $4,500.00 - I paid $3,900 to Keith Brady Real Estate and $395.00 to Cathy McKenzie of Smith & Stanton. I never got my.miney back and yet I was made to pay out the above. Being just newly arrived from UK and being stressed out after experience I never pusued it plus I had no more money.

Peter S and his team took care of my Dear late mother's estate, they made it a smooth process My latest drama has been around the transfer of ownership of her near new car, after a visit to the TMR, my confusion grew so I called Smith and Stanton for clarification, not only did they tell me what I "really" needed I found the relevant documents in my mail box the next day thank you so much for going above and beyond best wishes to all of you at S & S you've saved me a lot of head aches John D

I recently (November 2016) engaged this firm to help with a sale of business/home. I did not receive a client agreement or a fee schedule. They did not tell me when their billing started. Guess if I was surprised when I got a bill for over $500 for a few emails. I would NEWER use this firm again. Buyer be AWARE......Seek another firm.
