The Horatio motel is an excellent place to stay if you are visiting Mudgee. The room is spacious and clean. Staff is friendly and helpful. The covid safe check in and check out protocols are excellent too and you are kept well informed on how to proceed. Ample amount of parking and super quiet location. I would definitely stay again when I visit Mudgee especially as the location is perfect to walk into town and you always feel safe. Rooms are also kept super clean.

We very much enjoyed our experience at the Horatio motel! Perfect location, tidy and spacious rooms and easy check in/out. Perfect place to have as your base when exploring the surrounds. Also got a 10 percent voucher from the front desk for First Ridge cellar door - which was by far our fave winery! Thanks for a lovely weekend team Horatio!

Clean and well kept. The furniture looked new. Even the carpet in the corridor looked new and did not smell stale.
For two adults the king suite had ample space. The bathroom was also spacious and clean. Conveniently located open to air car park. Though we did not use the pool but it seems more than 10 people would get crowded.
The motel is about 3 mins drive from the CBD. overall good experience.

It’s very clean , excellent service, people that work there are always friendly.
I forgot the room keys once in a restaurant ,I contacted the reception it was at 10 pm, they came and delivered a spare key to me .
I haven’t been to another motel since My first stay in Horatio 7 years ago (unless they have no availability).
Always book early with them because they are almost always fully booked .

The Horatio exceeded our expectations by a lot and they certainly changed our perception of motels. The room that we got was modern and clean and every staff we interacted with was friendly and welcoming. We enjoyed our stay and thought it was very good value for money. The next time we go to Mudgee we will definitely book our stay there again.
