Free diagnostic hearing tests and fully or partially subsidised hearing aids for pensioners, veterans and other eligible clients of the Government's Hearing Services Program. We deliver audiological services in facilities with the latest equipment and conduct hearing tests in soundproof conditions.
A comprehensive diagnostic hearing test with one of our clinicians takes 1hr. During this appointment, your clinician will take a detailed history of your ear and medical health and your hearing and communication concerns. They will conduct tests, explain your results and answer your questions.

If you do have a hearing loss, together with your clinician you can discuss treatment options, which may range from communication strategies, hearing aids and other devices, to a referral to your GP or another medical specialist.Pensioners, veterans and other eligible clients under the Government's Hearing Services Program may be eligible for a free diagnostic hearing test.
A comprehensive hearing and tinnitus assessment at MAC will provide you with detailed information about tinnitus management and your hearing health. Our audiologists have many years experience and will provide you with the appropriate recommendations regarding treatment options. If you have a ringing or buzzing in your ears or head, you may have tinnitus.
An Auditory Processing Disorder (APD) is a deficit in the brain's ability to understand and use sound information correctly; hearing levels are usually within the normal range. Our audiologists specialise in APD assessments and will discuss the results and therapy options with you. An APD assessment consists of a series of tests, each one designed to assess a specific auditory skill.
