I have had a dream career. Since 1987, I have taught about 1000 courses, 600 workshops and 40 retreats, and given hundreds of workplace seminars and consultations. I trained nearly 400 people as meditation teachers. I was also able to write eight books, now published in 13 languages. Although I will vanish from the landscape, my ghost will remain.
I will keep this website operating for a while. I have found that many people like to use the articles and guided meditations, and you can too, even if you have never been to my classes. In 2005, after producing my book The 5-Minute Meditator, I was asked to write a series of monthly articles for Nova Magazine, which is a nationwide publication based in Perth. Each magazine has a particular theme, which explains the diversity of subject matter in the. After a climactic night of meditation, the Buddha became fully 'awakened' at the moment of sunrise.
I eventually sold the overseas rights to UK and USA publishers with the title Teach Yourself to Meditate. I also sold them the rights to Meditation and Health. I soon discovered that publishers did not want to bring out revised editions. Too expensive! This means than any of my books that you find on the internet will have texts that are 20-28 years old.
