To obtain a new Forklift Licence (LF) in Victoria you must attend and successfully complete a training course with a Registered Training Organisation (RTO) which has been authorised by WorkSafe Victoria to issue High Risk Work (HRW) Licences. Your HRW Licence is valid for 5 years. Boom-type elevating work platform EWP (boom length 11 metres or more) or aerial platforms, can be raised very high in order to reach normally inaccessible areas.

We provide nationally recognised training and assessments for heavy vehicle and High-Risk Work (HRW) licences to operate warehousing/construction equipment. AWFTC is accredited by WorkSafe Victoria and VicRoads. AWFTC is also a Registered Training Organisation (RTO) and will provide you with nationally recognised Statements of Attainment to go with your licence.

Tailored to your experience your Order Picker Lift Training will be conducted over a maximum of 2 days including both practical and theory training. The small class size of our order picker licence course ensures that students receive maximum time driving the forklift in our simulated warehouse.
On successful completion of this course you will receive a Statement of Attainment; Licence to operate an order picking forklift truck issued by Start Training, and a temporary WorkSafe Forklift Licence; Licence to Perform High Risk Work - LO.This temporary licence needs to be submitted to Australia Post within 60 days of completion of course.

The course content refreshes a person operating a forklift to plan their work, conduct routine checks on a forklift, shift loads in a safe manner and safely shut down and secure equipment after completing operations;.

All of our High-Risk Work (HRW) licences and operator cards are open to those of any skill level and experience as long as you meet the entry requirements.
