At Avoca Beach Dental, our team of professionals is dedicated to helping you restore the natural beauty of your signature smile, as well as educate you about the different procedures necessary for you to make an informed decision. At our practice, we treat patients of all ages.
The mouth can reveal findings of additional systemic problems or disease which can impact on your overall health. As part of your comprehensive oral examination, your dentist will make a record of the findings which involves a comprehensive oral mucosal examination (oral cancer check), a full charting of your existing oral condition, treatment planning, radiographs (x-rays) and photographs (as required).
In all areas of health and well-being, prevention is better than cure - and at our practice it is our commitment to establish and maintain the oral health of our patients through a complete preventive approach. This approach involves regular active maintenance appointments every six months with one of our oral health professionals.
Fillings are a procedure commonly used to treat cavities, repair damaged teeth and prevent further decay. The type of filling you receive will depend on the extent of the repair and which tooth the filling is needed for. Before the filling procedure, our oral health professionals will use specialised tools to extract any decay to ensure that the area is clear.
It is important children start their dental health early in life to avoid future problems and any anxiety associated with a trip to the dentist. Avoca Beach Dental understands little teeth and how important they are to parents, and we believe it is important to build confidence and good habits in a safe and positive environment.

I can't stop smiling thanks to these guys!
Dr Laura has been absolutely incredible in creating a smile I'm confident in with veneers for my two front teeth and always created such a calm atmosphere. Very different to my previous experience of dentistry.
