General dentistry aims to maintain lifelong oral health through prevention, proper diagnosis and treatment of tooth decay and gum disease. We pride ourselves on delivering the highest level of patient care through appropriate treatments, patient education, personalised dental maintenance and preventative programs.
Tooth implants are specially designed artificial titanium roots which are carefully placed in to the jaw bone to hold the replacement tooth in place. Titanium is used as it is s a very strong and safe material which the bodies bone grows around to hold it in place. Dental implants are an excellent way to replace missing teeth as they provide you with a healthy smile and the comfort of chewing.
Teeth whitening also known as teeth bleaching is designed to whiten your teeth without any artificial additions such as veneers, fillings or crowns. Over time our teeth can become discoloured due to a range of factors such as ageing, tea, coffee, red wine, some medications and smoking. Teeth whitening can transform aged and discoloured teeth into a brighter, healthier looking smile.
Caring for your children's teeth from a young age is very important. Establishing a proper oral care routine from a young age sets the foundation for the development of healthy and strong permanent teeth for life. Primary teeth start to erupt in children from the age of six months; this is generally complete by about two and half years old.
Root canal treatment is required when a tooth is infected on the inside. This treatment, also known as endodontic treatment, is a process whereby inflamed or dead pulp is removed from the inside of the tooth, enabling a tooth that was causing pain to be retained. The tooth pulp can become infected from various factors including decay, gum disease and injury, which can kill blood vessels and nerves supplying the tooth.

Terrigal Beach Dental provides highly professional service in a friendly, easy environment. I attended Dr. Nick and was very happy with the front tooth procedure performed. A clean and polish with Paris followed. She is an assured, thorough and skilled hygienist. l highly recommend this dental practice.

All smiles at terrigal beach dental , my partner has been visiting the team her whole life - I was always embarrassed about my teeth and hated going to the dentist ...
But terrigal beach dentist nick and ashlyn has me literally smiling from ear to ear , the place is very clean and they make you feel right at home with cool sunglasses to don whilst peacefully watching the fixed TVs from the friendly ladies at the desk to the information and guidance they take to help you maintain a healthy mouth they take absolute care with your teeth and are with you every step of the way whilst they do there

It’s an excellent dental practice. I have been seeing Dr Wilding now for over 5 years and can’t fault the level of dental treatment and care, from general check-ups to installing crowns. The staff are super friendly and helpful, and the nature doco’s on loop on the ceiling tv’s are a nice touch :).
