The aitch in "H Hotel" stands for "Home" in my eyes. Not because it's a homely type of place, but because I actually spend more time there than in my own home.
The location is very central - in the middle of Darwin but not one of those parts that looks stabby or fighty (across the road is a school and a church).
The fit-out is modern - very grey - and maybe a bit too monotone - stylish without being cool. The rooms are large, but don't have balconies - which is a disappointment if you are a smoker or want to hang out with people in your room.
