One bedroom with queen size bed, luxury cotton bedding, electric blankets (for the cooler months). Guests are welcome to sample fresh produce from the veggie patch and gather fresh farm eggs from the chicken coupe.
Fully equipped eat in country kitchen with large fridge/freezer, microwave, cook top and electric oven, bread maker, casserole dishes, toastie maker, kettle, toaster, cutlery, Tea, coffee, sugar and basic condiments provided (upstairs).Flat screen TV with free to air TV stations and DVD player, Apple TV connection, record player.

I was only able to stay the one night in Brown Muir Cottage, as part of my hike along the Great North Walk (which essentially runs through the property, so couldn't be more convenient). The Cottage exceeded my expectations in pretty much every way and the on site owners were very friendly and helpful. Everything was clean, there were plenty of supplies and quite a few little extras as well. It would be a great base from which to explore the area further. The booking communication was also very well handled by Jane from Hunter Valley Escapes.

Booking with Hunter Valley Escapes was an amazing experience. We had a large group & Jane not only found the perfect accommodation, she organised catering for our Saturday evening meal. If you’re looking for the perfect weekend away, you won’t be disappointed, I highly recommend! Stayed at Brown Muir Cottage and loved the quiet peaceful location. Particularly enjoyed sitting on the deck watching the moon at night and enjoying the sunshine in the morning as we ate breakfast. A rustic but extremely comfortable cottage where you can just relax, read and take walks along the Great North walk.

What a wonderful weekend we had staying at the beautiful Bellbird home!! Jane had the house looking gorgeous- the two wood fires alight, white fluffy towels on all the beds,- what a welcoming warm feeling it gave us arriving on a wet weekend.

It was an amazing experience when i had stayed at Myrtle Cottage with my friend Jake. I had visited at Myrtle Cottage last year. I had found they had done proper arrangement for family stay or single person stay.
Their room service was extraordinary and they had perfect fit ac, heaters and ceiling fans.
There i had met with host Jane who has done proper arrangement for our stay in Myrtle Cottage.

We were so impressed with Jane from Hunter Valley Escapes. We were in need of somewhere to stay in Wollombi and Jane went out of her way to find us somewhere to stay! Not only did she go above and beyond but we also stayed at an amazing property that was beautiful with a great country landscape. We would highly recommend Hunter Valley Escapes!

My partner, myself and furry friend Zak the Burmese cat loved our stay in Myrtle Cottage. Wollombi itself is one of our favorite areas of the Hunter Valley. We found the cottage to be clean light and airy with tasteful decor. It has all the facilities needed for any season including ceiling fans a/c and heaters. The kitchen is well supplied and being situated almost next door to the cafe was very handy, especially the room service! There is an unfenced area at the back that we walked Zak in. Jane is a great host we will be back!

Hi Jane. I just spent the weekend at your property in Wollombi - Myrtle Cottage. Really enjoyed my stay and appreciated so much that I could bring my dog. The scenery is just stunning in that part of the world… and I found a great walk opposite your house where I was able to take Doolin for a nice long walk. He even got a swim in. Thanks again and look forward to staying in the new year when my Mum is over from Ireland.
