Thomson Family Lawyers are a team of family and divorce lawyers located in the suburb of Stirling, a short 15-minute drive North-West of Perth City. Danielle graduated from the University of Western Australia with a Juris Doctor degree in 2017 and a Bachelor of Arts majoring in 'Law & Society' and 'Marketing' in 2014. In 2019 Danielle was also admitted to practice in the High Court of Australia.
While studying, Danielle gained experience working in a Community Legal Centre, focusing on assisting clients with both family law and civil law issues, as well as from working in two boutique family law firms.Danielle was awarded the Honourable Serge Ferrier Bursary for her strong interest in Family Law by her university.

Gillian graduated from the London School of Economics and Political Science with a Bachelors of English and French Law in 1993. Gillian is bilingual in French and spent a year studying French Law at the University of Strasbourg in France. Gillian was an accredited lawyer for the French Consulate in London, specialising in international child abduction and the enforcement of foreign family law judgments.
Gloria graduated from the University of Western Australia with a Bachelor of Laws and Bachelor of Commerce in 2009. She was admitted as a Barrister and Solicitor of the Supreme Court of Western Australia in 2012. Gloria has worked internationally in corporate law and has experience in all areas of Family Law including divorce, separation, child custody, property settlement, and relocation.

When I first met Serina, the first thing I said was, how important it was to me that this matter was resolved as soon as possible, I also told her that I was not looking for a lawyer to litigate and prolong the matter, but rather, to take a practical approach to settlement and get the case resolved.

I had been in and out of family court over 4 years, my first court appearance with Madeline de Leo from Thompson Family Lawyers in 2020 made more constructive progress towards regular contact with my two children then any prior appearance over the years with my past 3 lawyers and as more appearances came up each always felt successful, Independent children's lawyer appointed, expert witness, court ordered drug tests and more all applied pressure to her to adhere to the consent orders. Serina Thomson represented me in my child related proceedings which ultimately ended a little over a month prior to an expedited trial. Without ever even having had a DR Conference (mediation event) final orders were agreed by consent between the respondent mother and myself.
Obviously, one cannot reveal specific details of such a case. Vexatious allegations were made about myself, in response to my initial filing to court. Allegations made in order to restrict access between my then 6 month old baby and myself.
In contemporary society
