Benn Hill established the firm in 2011 to provide efficient and cost-effective legal representation and family dispute resolution. Born and raised in Perth, Benn graduated in 2005 with a Bachelor of Laws and a Bachelor of Commerce from the University of Western Australia.
He subsequently studied for a Graduate Diploma of Legal Practice and is admitted as a legal practitioner of the Supreme Court of Western Australia and the High Court of Australia.Benn completed a Vocational Graduate Diploma of Family Dispute Resolution at Anglicare WA Training Services and is accredited by the Attorney-General's Department as a Family Dispute Resolution Practitioner (FDRP).

Cases involving third parties, including grandparents wishing to spend time with children or creditors wishing to recover debts.
You can apply to the Family Court for a divorce order if your marriage has broken down irretrievably. You can apply for a divorce order once you have been separated from your spouse for more than 12 months. If you have reconciled once for less than 3 months, you can combine the two periods of separation to meet the 12 month requirement.
Family dispute resolution provides a structured and safe manner in which people can discuss the care of their children. Parents must generally attempt family dispute resolution prior to instituting proceedings in the Family Court of Western Australia in relation to children.
A Family Dispute Resolution Practitioner such as Benn Hill can issue certificates under section 60I of the Family Law Act 1975 (Cth) which are filed with any Family Court Initiating Application.Family dispute resolution may not be required prior to Family Court proceedings in circumstances such as family violence, child abuse or urgency.

Separation is hard, but it does not need to be as draining or as expensive as many believe. The best move we made was to seek the service of a skilled mediator in Benn Hill.
