The Chinese pork belly is really good. 3 slices of pork is just perfect. Lol.
Lovely place, though we had to sit outside and it was really cold.

Worst experience ever.
Took half an hour just to get two soft drinks and two simple cocktails... With the cocktails not made properly...
Got three entrees that took another hour to get.
The fish cakes were absolutely plain and mushy, the pulled pork bao was the worst I've ever had... The pork was mushy and wet, and tasted like it was frozen packaged food that got microwaved.
The pork and chive dumplings were horrible drenched in this sweet watery I assume was sweet and spur sauce ... And the other dumplings were plain and simple.... We got to the point where my table decided to cancel before

This venue is lovely and I found the staff to be great, food and drinks came out in a timely manner but unfortunately the food was such a let down. We had the 'feed me' option which had a selection of many dishes. We certainly are not fussy eaters but I found every meal to be either very bland, overly sweet or a very strange flavour combination that just didn't work.

Great place for a work lunch. The mains were very really nice, but the starters were outstanding. As many people have said, must try the lemon pepper squid.
They just need to add serving cutlery to each dish 👍🏻

I’m unsure if there has been a change in management or the chef, but this menu has had a drastic decline in quality over the past few months - the rice cakes tasted like water, the cauliflower was powdery and flavourless, and the pulled pork bao were dry. On top of the disappointing food, our waiter spilled my drink on my partners phone and all over the table, completely ignored it and just walked away without offering to help clean up or change the soaked napkin or cutlery - I have never had such terrible food or service before, especially for $137!! Especially disappointing as we have had several

Bit of a mixed review. The location is fantastic and some of the food is good. But there are quite a bits that just don't quite work. For a menu that is designed to be shared a lot of the portions and ratios just aren't quite right, which just makes it awkward to share. Some dishes are just a bit unbalanced.
Also the staff could maybe do with a bit more training. Things like providing serving cutlery for sharing dishes, seating patrons, etc were just a bit clumsy and could do with more work.

The short: Great food, great location, but dam pricey!
It was a conversation about Bao Buns that led my friend to suggest we dine here, as he indicated they were the best around and granted, he is probably right.  My first time having Bao Buns, I am impressed.
Wah Wah Gee is situated on Cunninghams Pier, Geelong and offers great views of the western side of the bay and Geelong marina area.
The place is a Asian Infusion inspired menu and offers limited non Asian food such as chips (see menu).
Staff were friendly, efficient and wait times were well in order of a good standard.   Service, 10

You couldn’t find a more perfect location – at the End of Cunningham Pier with water views across the bay and back towards the Geelong foreshore.
The interior is colourful and fun with a nod to rock and roll and amazing views. There are loads of different sized tables plus spaces for functions large and small. They can pretty much accommodate everything. They also run the bar upstairs which reopened as the Wah Bar late last year.
The Asian inspired menu is completely designed for sharing and ranges from small plates and nibbles, through to dumplings, Salads, Asian curries and desserts. Plus
