Services
While we officially launched Perth Party hire in 2013, the concept for PPH came about gradually over the course of 12 years. It began back in 2001 when Michael Fish of Hendies Hire Service teamed up with Mal Thomas of Claremont Party Hire. Joining forces was a no-brainer for the two highly regarded Party and Function Hire Companies.
Origionally established as Hendies Hire Service in 1953 and Claremont Party Hire in 1984, Mal Thomas and Micheal Fish joined forces in 2003. In 2013 we rebranded to Perth Party Hire and have been servicing Perth since then, catering to an array of events, weddings and parties both big and small. Some of the benefits we offer include a personalised and friendly, genuine service that exceeds our competitors.
Not all events are created equal, so we recognise that you may need one piece of hire equipment or ten for your function. We've got you covered either way. Our standard hire period is for 24 hours or part thereof. So as long as your desired hire equipment is available for use, we can happily deliver the day before and pick up the day after.
As a standard rule, for a cocktail event you would need to allow approximately 0.75m2 per person and for a sit-down event, about 1-1.5m2 per person. However, in order for us to really assist you with this question, your best bet is to just give us a call! We know the right questions to ask to identify the right size marquee for your event.
We have seen many changes in our business over the years, but the current circumstances have been very difficult for Michael and Mal. Due to our current social situation and the many cancellation of group events we have had to regretfully release all of our casual staff members in order to maintain the business.

Such lovely people that run a great hire business. They were so accommodating and so helpful answering all my questions and going out of their way to help me when I encountered some hurdles in the planning of my event over the weekend. Sue-Anne is such a pleasure to speak with over the phone, my order was acknowledged promptly, furniture is sturdy and decently priced. Michael (I think that is the owners name from memory, I'm sorry if I got it wrong) was so incredibly helpful and has a wealth of knowledge. The items I hired looked fantastic and truly helped to make my event a success - thank you
