At Ripley Dental our primary focus is to provide affordable, pain-free and quality dental care to the Ripley and surrounding communities. Often dentistry can be distressing and fear-prone. However, at Ripley Dental we will always prioritise your needs and strive to establish a friendly and gentle atmosphere that will put any fears to rest.
At Ripley Dental we strongly believe that preventative care is the basis of a healthy mouth and as such encourage patients to come see us at least every 6 months for a comprehensive check-up, cleaning and if required fissure sealants, x-rays and fluoride treatment. We recommend check-up appointments to detect problems before they cause much bigger issues which can be painful and costly to repair.
The need for dental fillings arises from having dental cavities or broken teeth. Cavities are generally the end result of irregular brushing and flossing as well as unhealthy diet choices such as sugar laden foods and drinks. At Ripley Dental we use tooth coloured fillings which bond to the tooth and blend in seamlessly with the surrounding teeth.
At Ripley Dental, we believe that your oral health contributes significantly to your overall health. We understand that this concept is not limited to simply treating cavities or gum disease or other dental problems but also extends to patients with cosmetic concerns which may be influencing their overall quality of life.
Root canal treatments are generally performed to avoid the need for tooth removal and save your tooth. There is a misunderstanding that root canals are painful. However, like other dental treatment, pain and discomfort can be eliminated through gentle care by a well-trained Dentist and use of modern equipment and treatments.

I can't recommend this practice highly enough. When I first came here 3 years ago to start orthodontic treatment, I was incredibly anxious of dental checkups, let alone getting braces, but Dr Felmingham took the time to reassure me and explain everything the treatment would have involved. Looking back, I realise I've been so fortunate to have had her throughout my treatment. Now that the braces are off, I couldn't have asked for a better smile and team who looked after me! - so a massive thank you to everyone!

My daughter has been under the care of Dr Sarah Felmingham for 3 years now. Sarah has worked miracles. My daughter had a tooth which was coming down into another tooth, she opened a gap avoiding surgery! Her teeth after having braces are now straight. She is absolutely brilliant, went above and beyond and gave her time to carefully explain every step of the process. I highly recommend Dr Felmingham.

I've been under the care of Dr Sarah Felmingham for around 2 years now having Invisalign treatment. I can't recommend Sarah, her assistant and Ripley Dental highly enough. At every stage Sarah has been friendly, professional, communicated everything really clearly and done everything she could to make me comfortable throughout my treatment. She is clearly a master at her practice, another Invisalign consultation I attended before finding Sarah told me that Invisalign wouldn't get a good result for me and that I needed surgery to correct my teeth. For the past 2 years my daughter has been under the care of Dr Zania Lung. Her braces were removed this week and the results are amazing. The appointments and procedures have been seemless. We have not had any breakages or problems and I am very grateful to Dr Lung for her care and kindness and the helpful way she has answered all my questions. I would not hesitate to recommend her. I would like to thank all the staff for helping us through our treatment.

My son has just finished almost 2 years worth of treatment and I cannot recommend Dr Sarah Felmingham highly enough. The care and attention she took was just wonderful. She spent time each appointment explaining the course of treatment, the options available to him and the progress he was making. I joined this dentist about 10 years ago and they have always made me feel welcome and have always provided excellent dental care. Today after not needing to visit for a good while I was greeted by two lovely receptionists Sharon & Rose and was then introduced to a new dentist as my usual one has now retired. Chris was lovely and confident and as a nervous patient he put me at complete ease and his dental nurse Emma was really lovely warm and friendly - Great team great dentist. For someone who hates the dentist I feel lucky to be registered here.
