Services
Food, no matter what the form has always been a big part of the Dimitropoulos family. As a young man I knew Rundle St as a place where my father went to work and in the school holidays I would get up at 2am and help at his stall. I remember old Ruby in Ruby's Caf frying eggs and sausages and placing them on clean hessian bags from potato sacks to drain the oil.
Greek pork sausage pan tossed with onion & capsicum, in a rich tomato salsa served with charred pide. Chargrilled zucchini, eggplant, potato layered with a rich ground beef sauce topped with a creamy cheese bechamel. A medley of chargrilled vegetables layered with a lentil ragu, topped with a creamy bechamel sauce.
Whether it be with your work colleagues, clients or special occasions with family and friends, Eros Kafe caters for a range of different corporate & private functions. Our focus is to create a day or night event where you can enjoy good food and wine and the company of those around you, in a relaxed and comfortable atmosphere.

By far the best experience we had the whole week we were in Adelaide.
From the moment we walked up to the door we were greeted with a warm welcome and outstanding customer service throughout the whole night. Our food tasted absolutely beautiful and we could not fault anything.
Throughout our whole stay we found that every venue lacked basic customer service and skills which was really disappointing - Our experience here was the saving grace and made the end of our holiday so special. We highly recommend and will defiantly be back again soon!

Absolutely amazing food. Quality and flavour are the two words that come to mind. We visited on New Year’s Day and it wasn’t too busy, staff were super friendly from the moment we stood outside to look at the menu.
Lots of options for vegans and vegetarians as well as traditional meat eaters.
We shared 2 started and 2 mains and left full and happy!!!
Highly recommend for food, flavour and service!

So happy that we found this quaint little restaurant. We ordered the first lunch option and it is awesome value for the price. Not only in the amount of you get but also in flavours! If I feel like having Greek food again whilst in Adelaide, I’ll get out of my way to come back here!
Oh, and just a side note... the Greek salad has that amazing soft and creamy like feta, not that generic hard cubes that you get out of a tub. So yummy!

This place is fantastic. One of the best restaurants I have tried so far during my holiday. The food actually has great flavor! The octopus was delicious but a little over cooked and I was compensated for it without hesitation. Not too many places have such great service and food. The Garithes Saganaki really has a delicious tomato sauce. I would definitely visit again if I were in the area.

Eros food is tasty however it is not comparable to the competition in Adelaide's diverse selection of great restaurants when it comes to value for money. With all the great food out there and amazing greek restaurants to choose from they can't afford to be stingy or to get it so wrong! We ordered skewered prawns and were told the large had six skewers and the small three. We naturally ordered the small as three of us were sharing. What came out however was one and half full skewers or the equivalent of that cut in half to give three tiny halves of a skewer. First negative. The second

It's average food with some staff that seem to still be getting their smiles fixed on (apart from the one lady server who was the one gem). Some language barriers make it an interesting greek experience, though I couldn't say whether the staff were greek.
Otherwise its the normal greek fare - hummus, taramasalata, etc. Greek lab dishes and a few bits and pieces that are not particularly inspiring but standard fare. Cafe is clean as are the toilets which is good, and they do have Coopers which is a bonus.

"Are you here for lunch?"
"Yes, please."
"Sorry, you can't. The kitchen doesn't open until 12."
I looked at the people sitting inside and out. "What time is it?"
"I don't know."
I checked my phone. "It's 11.58."
It was not a good start.
Fortunately, the food side of things was much better. My lamb salad was excellent, and cooked just as I requested. My partner's beetroot salad was great. We could not crack a smile or even eye contact out of our waiter, but them's the breaks, and the wine was a generous

Terrible. Terrible. Terrible.
Took FOREVER for the food to arrive. "Roasted" potatoes were near raw, supposed to be rosemary, but sprinkled with tinned dried rosemary, tasted terrible, calamari way too salty, lamb tough as leather and in no way flavoured in a Greek way, it was chilli hot and strange, almost Asian.
The staff were vague and uninterested, and when I complained about the food they just shrugged, said sorry and charged me full price. $70 for two main (but VERY small serves) meals and one tiny rotten potato side dish - no drinks, no dessert. OVER PRICED.

Eros Kafe wants to be the place you take people to impress them. It has got lovely décor, the vibe is impressive. It'd be harsh on the wallet to pay for your date's meal, but they'd be pretty swept off their feet.
Unfortunately, it is not that place. It's the place that makes you and your date have a fight during the bus journey home. They're disappointed that the meal took so long to come. You're resentful that they charged so much for what were average burgers.
I ate at Eros recently with two friends. It took four asks to get a menu, meals took an eternity to

Eros Kafe is right next door to Eros Ouzeri but I've always found the Kafe a much less expensive eating experience than the Ouzeri.
If you love indulging in Greek Food, the Eros Kafe named after Eros the Greek God of Love, is the place for you to indulge. This is a great chance to share food and have a taste of a range of different dishes from the menu. The food at Eros Kafe is a mxiture of modern and traditional and many of the newer dishes are modern takes on old favourites with a twist added to jazz them up for a new era of diners. I can't go past their range of dips and their dolmades

To my knowledge, there isn't a huge difference between Eros Kafe and it's neighbouring counterpart Eros Ouzeri. The menu's seem to include many similar dishes with a few differences here and there, where Kafe is slightly cheaper. Despite the similarities between the menus, I've always chosen to go to Kafe - it's atmosphere is much cosier, and the heating outside during the cold weather makes it a perfect smoker's spot!
The last time I was there I tried a dish that featured on the specials board. There's no chance of me remembering what it was called, but it was
