Byron Bay's Greek Cypriot Influenced Restaurant located in Bay Lane beside the Beach Hotel. Experience a great atmosphere and amazing food in a BYO and Alfresco Dining experience. My girlfriend and I are big fans of the Cyprus Tree and often spend our dinners there. My girl doesn't eat seafood, and I love the stuff, so we always get the Traditional Mezzare Platter and share it between us.
We never get bored of it. We love the BYO and often bring in a few drinks of our own and have a nice dinner before heading out. I cannot say a bad word about the food and Andrew and Annette (owners & operators) are the loveliest people, as well as the staff. As a Byron Bay local I'm always reccommending people go eat there.

Really enjoyed my dining experience at Cyprus tree !
The menu is comprised of of traditional , authentic Greek food and was freshly cooked within a timely manner .
We ordered a Moreton bay bugs and a mixed platter which included skewered meats , sausages , dips , dolmades , rice , Greek salad , seafood , zucchini and halloumi frittatas and stuffed tomatoes .
I then ordered a plate of dolmades and out of the two vegan options on the menu ; I ordered the roasted capsicum with Mediterranean rice and Greek Salad .
The dish was absolutely delicious !

What a great restaurant! Small and intimate, with a great Mediterranean atmosphere. Staff are warm and welcoming. Limited in house alcoholic beverages are well complimented with a very local BYO from the bottle shop across the road. We had the prawns and scallops entree, not too bad... However, the real gems are the sides of octopus (top 10 in this reviewers palette!) and the calamari. Side portions are super generous and delicious. Will come again! 🐙🦑🦐🇬🇷

Food was great, recommend trying the traditional platter as was yum and filling. We did sit to a Greek who complained the skewers were tiny during their entire main though.
Service - we were waiting to be addressed/put our name down and we were ignored and then walked right past without any acknowledgement, found it very rude til another waitress inside saw us.
