Nestled at the base of the majestic Wollumbin-Mt Warning, this 25-acre former dairy farm is home to a relaxed country-style restaurant, a rich organic kitchen garden, eco-friendly B&B cabin accommodation and a highly sought-after weddings and events venue. Surrounded by World Heritage rainforest and the fertile farmland of the lush Tweed Valley, it's no wonder the focus here is all about sustainability.
Your meal at Mavis's Kitchen reflects what's important to us: food grown organically (in our own garden where possible), sourced locally, harvested seasonally and prepared and served with love. If a meal at Mavis's Kitchen is a feast for your senses then a stay in one of Mavis's Cabins is a salve for your soul.

Services
Hi, we are the proud new owners of Mavis's Kitchen and Cabins. Thanks for stopping by our website. We look forward to welcoming you, or perhaps welcoming you back, to our beautiful property at the base of Wollumbin-Mt Warning. Mavis's story is all about family, the families we're born with and the families we create.
He brings to an Australian Kitchen his farm to plate flavours and a love for all things local. His side gig is a spice company @littlebayflavour. Clive has a refreshing can-do approach to running a busy service with a full dining room. Working closely together with our Charlie we think you will really enjoy the magic that happens when these two bring their experience and influence to our seasonal menus and specials.
Much of what you'll eat in the Mavis's Kitchen restaurant comes from our organic vegetable and herb garden that meanders through the orchard. Our produce thrives on subtropical rain, sunshine, organic fertilisers and tender loving care from Charlie (one of the owners) and our resident horticulturist Jackie.
We thank you all for your support during these strange times. We are positive and focused on doing what we love. We are grateful for such amazing commitment from the community in supporting the hospitality industry. Mavis' Kitchen will continue trading safely and continue to follow the directives issued by the Government.
Food tastes best when we eat with the seasons. It's better for our health and the environment, too! That's why, at Mavis's Kitchen, our menus change according to the seasonality of the produce that we source from local farmers and artisans. There's always a range of menu options to suit every taste for breakfast, lunch, dinner or a relaxed coffee and cake.

Hands down one of the best meals my husband and I have eaten. The service was brilliant even though it was very busy. The atmosphere was very chilled and it was great to see a team working together as a team including the owners there on a Sunday waiting and cleaning tables etc. The kitchen staff should be commended being able to produce the quantity and quality of food that kept filtering through to diners. Will definitely return.

This is truly one of the best restaurants we have been to. It should be "hatted" From the moment we were greeted, signed in and seated we knew this was going to be good. Our waitress Karla was well informed
with the menu. We will be back. Happy to recommend this lovely restaurant and gardens. Well done 5 stars

Incredible food, fresh, delicious and delightful.
The venue is stunning in location where you inhale the green of the mountains while sitting on a easy farm estate. Tweed Bron is very lucky to have such a treat locally.
The vegetarian dishes are special as you can taste the garden freshness farmed at the estate. Nice choice of wines.
The service was slow, they seem disgruntled. One server was rude upon arrival luckily she only greeted guests. The other staff were warm and improved in attentiveness throughout the visist.
Have eaten here a few times, and always worth a visit. Recommend

We visited Mavis's kitchen and cabins after being recommended by a friend. The location is stunning and offers amazing views while visiting the resteraunt. We decided to take up the $40 pp special which included a shared entree and a main, each. Granted the reviews and ambiance we thought this to be a reasonable offer. I will say however, although our entree was delicious, we were disappointed with our mains. The food was good, but failed to meet our expectations that comes with a $100 dollar bill. The food came out in good time, but the service was quite lacking. On multiple occasions we found
