Lawrence did his apprenticeship and worked as a Carpenter for several years before completing further studies and obtaining his builders license in 1990. He worked for a large building company before leaving to establish Dorsal Constructions with his brother, Mark in 1996. Lawrence is a Perfectionist and pays particular attention to detail.
He is not shy to ask our tradespeople to redo anything that isn't up to our high standard, something our tradespeople know well. Lawrence also looks after contract management and administration.

Established in 1996 Dorsal Constructions have been building quality homes and additions for 17 years.
Dorsal Constructions have extensive experience in all types of domestic construction. From new homes to simple additions, to refurbishment of Historic homes. We specialize in difficult or complex projects, including first floor additions, and we are able to provide valuable input at the design stage to help overcome any site constraints, or to simply deliver a more cost effective design.
One of the most popular ways to increase your living space, whilst maintaining your existing yard space is to build a First Floor Addition. Dorsal Constructions specialise in First Floor Additions in the Eastern Suburbs and Sutherland Shire and surrounding areas. Often we remove existing ground floor walls to provide modern open plan living areas and refurbish the existing ground floor, and build the new first floor to compliment that design.
A ground floor addition is the most common and cost effective way to increase the area of your home. Be it a large addition, or simply a deck or outdoor area. We have completed all manner of additions from small projects, to adding several ground floor rooms and first floor additions whilst completely refurbishing existing areas.
