Stopped here for a quick bite to eat and a cocktail before a wedding reception and the service was fantastic and the salt and pepper calamari was super delicious! Not greasy at all and perfectly seasoned. My watermelon martini was addictive!

My daughter was very lucky to celebrate her 18th birthday at Gertie's Bar & Restaurant recently. She and her 20 guests were welcomed by manager Edwin, who had already been amazing in his communication beforehand to make sure everything would be perfect. And it was. From setting up a special area for this occasion, to the beautiful food, and even organising the live band to initiate and support a Happy Birthday song while the cake was served. Edwin and his team have made this night and birthday one to remember forever! We can't wait to go back. Thanks so much, Gertie's!

As part of the latino comunity living in Australia I can tell you the food it's really good, in the drinks I can sugest the ginger martini and the service of the staff is really good. Our waitress Alejandra from Colombia make really good job

I went there last Saturday night for the very first time. It's a comfortable place, awesome drinks and the staff provide a 5 star service. All of them are very friendly. For sure we will be there again. I do recommend Gertie's.

Take a seat at one of Gerties' enormous windows looking out to New Farm, order a cocktail and enjoy. The team are friendly and attentive remembering you and your favourite drink. Their Old Fashioneds made on Makers Mark are a standout and their Long Island Iced Teas are refreshing. If you're off to the New Farm cinemas across the street you can enjoy a bite to eat there before or after the movie. Their Margherita pizza is a standout. Not to heavy, great flavours and large enough for two.

It's my local so I'm a little biased but a great spot for a drink and a meet up with friends. Drinks menu is extensive and the staff are friendly. Always a great atmosphere.
