We know that toothaches and oral/mouth pain can be very distressing and disturb your sleep. Therefore, we set aside appointments for such emergencies and will always try to accommodate and see you on the same day. If you have any questions, please call us and we will advise you on how to manage the pain until you can come in to see us.
We know that a child's 1st dental visit can be scary (for both the child and the parent) so we ensure that the visit is as fun and relaxed as possible. Children should ideally start going to the dentist by 3 years of age as they will normally have all of their baby (deciduous) teeth by then and also to get them used to the setting as this can allay much of the fear.
Gum disease is a common problem which is caused by the irritation from plaque and bacteria in your mouth. The signs and symptoms of gum disease range from bleeding gums, bad breath, and loose teeth. When diagnosed early, these problems may be treated with minimal long term effects. However, if left untreated, it can lead to receding gums, gum infections and eventual loss of teeth.
Fillings, inlays and onlays are all ways of restoring any loss of tooth structure. Fillings are directly placed by the dentist, whereas inlays and onlays are made in a lab (hence stronger) and cemented in by the dentist. We use the best materials to replace the lost tooth structure and give it strength whilst also making it look and feel as natural as possible.

I'm so lucky to have found this place! Their service is beyond amazing, very friendly staff. The dentist pays close attention to small details, every procedure is explained carefully and she ensure I feel very comfortable throughout the procedure. I've been to many dentist clinic before and I can say this is the best so far, this will definitely be my permanent go to dentist clinic!

I was an emergency call in for my two wisdom teeth and they gave me an appointment straight away, walked in and it was literally the best dentist I’ve ever been too, I’m usually like most people and I’m usually so scared of the dentist but I walked in and the vibe was great, everyone was happy and smiling and the receptionist even makes you feel so welcomed and informed. The dentist knew exactly what to do and he took his time and made sure it was as painless as possible, I previously had them out at another dentist which was uncomfortable and nerve racking so being able to experience someone

I visited the dentist with a 3 years old child who was afraid of the dentist.The child began to cry and refused treatment, but Dr. Kim kept waiting for my child to calm down. Although she couldn't get dental treatment in the end, I'd like to thank Dr. Kim for waiting for my child for a long time.

Dentist on Victoria have been our family's dentist for the past few years. We travel 40min from home to see Dr John and Dr Cindy because we know they are detailed and thorough with their service delivery. We always leave our appointments knowing that we have received a great clean and dental treatment. They are fantastic with the kids and know how to put them at ease. Their team of staff are always friendly and helpful with any concerns or questions we have. Highly recommended!

My experience with Doctor John Kim was very relaxing, professional and truly excellent work. As an older female who has seen many dentists in her days, I found the procedure relaxing, pain free and expert. The staff at Dentist on Victoria just make it even better. They are so friendly and punctual. I definitely continue to get all my dental work done here in the future!
