Your pet's annual vaccination and check-up is an ideal time to assess their overall health and well-being. It gives you an opportunity to voice any concerns you may have about whether your pet is "normal" or not. It also allows us to evaluate every body system thoroughly so that any potential health problems can be addressed early on.
Meet the gorgeous Hugo, a 14-month-old Samoyed. He's had his fair share of veterinary visits in the time that we've known him - but his most recent visit definitely takes the cake! Hugo was transferred to BVH after an overnight visit to Casey Pet Emergency (CPE),.

Zac has quite the rap sheet when it comes to his medical history - - Mast cell tumour removal and removal of left eye - Right cruciate ligament repair (ACL) Left cruciate ligament repair (ACL) Plate removal from right leg Laryngeal tie backand not surprisingly. Is your pooch up to date with their vaccinations?
As many of you will be aware, the level crossing at Clyde Road in Berwick is set for removal by 2022. As the works progress, we will endeavour to keep you informed of any upcoming delays or detours that may affect your visits to see us. The footpath and pedestrian rail crossing on the eastern side of Clyde Road, between Reserve Street and the Enterprise Avenue intersection, will remain closed until early-2022.
Dr. Thomas grew up on a farm in country Queensland where he developed a lifelong love for all animals, a strong work ethic and personal values. Thomas and his wife share their home with Leroy - a very doted on, beloved and loyal bulldog. Leroy has been by Tom's side for the past 9 years and it's not unusual for Leroy to pop out and say hello to clients and patients at reception.
You will meet them at the front counter, where they will be happy to help with most general health queries as well as give sound advice on diet, heartworm, intestinal worming and flea control for your pet. They have extensive experience in animal care both while your pet is in our hospital and assistance with your outpatient care.

Did a great job with helping our little doggo. Lost a point for being stuck in a consulting room for 45 minutes in the mid morning, losing work hours with the vet running late.

This team have looked after my flat coated retriever for most of his life. Being a normal exuberant flatty but also blind he can be be a handful (but always friendly) and they are so patient, friendly and embraced his kookiness in order to look after him.

Amazing service. Called first thing in the morning and they were able to fit me in 3 hours later which is near on impossible in the current climate with how busy vets are. No one else came close. I suspected my puppy had an ear infection a week ago and a different vet (won't name the clinic) wouldn't look properly because he was too mouthy-he's a pup not used to getting touched in weird places by strangers, hardly a surprise. The team at Berwick Vet Hospital looked after our boy with a proper examination and diagnosis and didn't find him an issue for them at all. He did have an infection that could

Would not recommend. I was quoted $600 for a teeth clean. When I went to drop off my dog I was told I would need an additional blood test at $185 that I was never told about as my dog was over a certain age which they would have known about as I had been a loyal customer for nearly 20 years. After leaving my dog there and thinking about it I decided not to go ahead with the procedure as I was told it wouldn’t go ahead till 11am when I then phoned them around 8.30am to let them know my decision I was told the blood test had already been done and I would need to pay for that before I could collect

Our cats are our babies and we say i am very demanding customer. Every single time we take our fur babies to BVH we can relax because we know all the vets and nurses look after our cats so well. DR vet Tracey is exceptional at keeping me informed if one of them is having a procedure. Also the nurses are wonderful one of our cats is always grumpy after anaesthetic but the last time he was all smoochy so she took a video to reassure us he is not always grumpy. The reception staff is also accommadating. Below is Brownie enjoying the sun after having lion clip. Something this hospital offers is a special

I could not speak more highly of the vets and nurses at Berwick Vet Hospital. Our beloved bulldog Leroy was a regular patient here toward the end of his life and the care and support given to our beautiful boy and our family was second to none. They took good care of him and even extended his life by 8 months, which we will be forever grateful for. Thank you so much.

This vet hospital is amazing. The staff are super friendly and so caring with your pet. They treat them like their own. We had our dog checked for quality of life. With acupuncture and a course of injections, he is doing amazingly and we are super grateful for having more quality time with him. Thank you for all your care and services. Would highly recommend.

This place is amazing in terms of how they look after your best friend. Mine is a dog, the vet he sees he has a special bond with so we only see her NOT because the other vets are great but because they have a BOND.. and she is sooo patient and so loving he literally behaves just for her. They treat your pets like family, speak to them like they are family. I just wish this place was open longer on Sunday or had emergency options for after hours but you can’t have it all can you? I totally trust this place and they never push you to buy things... they truly recommend what is best for your pet
