Whilst Gary has owned a number of veterinary clinics during this time, he custom built WoofPurNay, which opened in 2008.

Annual health checks are a great way to keep your pet in top shape. They also help your vet identify and treat any health concerns before they become serious. During your visit your pet will be given a thorough examination which generally includes your pets weight, body condition, skin, fur, eyes, ears, teeth and mouth.
Our family run local veterinary clinic is committed to offering professional and compassionate veterinary care to you and your pet. We are located in Narre Warren North, 36km south east of Melbourne's CBD. We are open 7 days a week and until 7pm on weeknights. We also have a vet available on call 24 hours, 7 days a week for pet emergencies.
We offer an after hours on call pet emergency service for critical illness or injury 24 hours, 7 days a week. Upon arrival, your pet will be assessed by one of our veterinarians. We will aim to provide an estimate of costs involved with your case and we will work with you to provide a tailored plan appropriate to your pets needs and situation.

A Huuuge THANK YOU to Gary and his amazing team who took on my pregnant Frenchie last minute as I was told by another vet (after attending all leading up appointments) that they would no longer be able to help during certain dates a week out from delivery!! What an experience. Thank you to the amazing receptionist (cant remember her name sorry) and to Gary and the lovely nurse for taking amazing care of Tommy my cat.
Everything happens for a reason, and i just so happened to book with Woofpurnay because my vet was booked out; and im glad i did!!
My cat had a tooth removed, a problematic claw clipped, received antibiotics and saline. Tom is now strutting around a few hours later free from pain!!
Looking at some of the reviews, there are 1 stars but no record of those customers on file according to Woofpurnay... Fake customer reviews are obvious

After having initially been to another clinic to have our puppy’s leg looked at, we made the smart decision to come to Woofpurnay. Their experience and care meant our puppy’s leg was accurately diagnosed and appropriate measures could be taken to get it on the mend. Plus all facilities needed onsite to ensure your pet gets what it needs.

I had a hand nursed kitten that i brought in with concerns of her constantly crying and her being EXTREMELY underweight for her age. gary completely neglected my concerns and basically implied that i was stressing myself out. little did i know that a few days later she would die of fading kitten syndrome. the first red flag was her being extremely underweight yet that was pushed to the side. i called after she died and said i want a refund and they refused. please do not go to this vet. i’m warning you. i’ve seen other reviews that relate to gary concerning misdiagnosis and overdosing animals

If I could give no stars I would. Gary is a DANGEROUS VET. After treating my brother's cat for months, he ended up dying from a simple infection that should have been an easy treatment. He ended up taking him to another vet before he died and was told the procedure was not at all usual and was incredibly dangerous. He died two weeks later from the side effects of this "experimental procedure" and he found out afterwards that his was not the first cat to die in his care after undergoing the same procedure. PLEASE DO NOT GO TO THIS VET!!

As good and friendly as Gary and the staff were, our fur baby was misdiagnosed. Was informed by vrh that she had lymphoma, went here due to word of mouth and affordability only to be told after examination, ultrasound and X-ray that she has pyometra and will need surgery costing us over $2000, she was given an injection and antibiotics. It took affect before she suddenly spiralled downhill so we were advised to take her to the Casey Pet Emergency lastnight, they were amazing, caring and friendly. After examination we were told she was infact riddled with cancer (lymphoma) and bleeding on her insides

Although Gary is very personable, he is terrible vet. My family has been seeing Gary for many years and I always thought he was an amazing vet because he is so lovely and has so many years of experience. I started doubting this when my he treated my dog for a skin condition for months on end without improvement. After going to a specialist, he told me they had confirmed his diagnosis and to continue treating. I took my kitten to this vet after he had been vomiting. He showed no other symptoms. I saw a male vet I think his name was Gary, he didn’t even weigh my kitten, then proceeded to administer a steroid to him. I paid $200 and got an invoice which stipulated what my kitten had been given. The steroid was way too much for a kitten his size, and the morning after I took him home he began vomiting severely. I took him to a second vet for a different opinion and showed her the invoice, she informed me that she believed my kitten had been overdosed. He simply should have administered an anti-nausea

Wow! From my first contact with Candice then Ashlea (1 and 2 😀) about my sick cat Sherry and the how unhappy I was with the vet i has just been to with her - was amazing! Those girls were so helpful and just nice!
They discussed my cat with Gary the vet and basically I had a consultation via email lol!
I booked Sherry in nearly straight away and… have just picked her up from having bad teeth removed. Gary is a down to earth man, very caring and thorough. He took the time to go through X-rays with me and about the surgery - he did not rush me out the door!

Couldn’t recommend this vet anymore than I already do! Their amazing Gary and everyone here is so helpful and caring when I bought my poor little baby kitten in at 16 weeks old with a fractured leg, They… helped me whenever I needed anything so understanding and saw me through to the end of his cast coming off! 6 long weeks worth it with these guys and for my kittens leg! I think Olly will miss you all without his weekly visits! His a very happy boy now!

Gary and the team are superstars! Our Shepherd had surgery and recieved the best care throughout the entire process. Gary was reassuring and very knowledgeable about our options. The venue itself is clean and has large waiting area. There is also a gorgeous play area for the kids while you wait. The nurses are very attentive and clearly love animals of all kind. I highly recommend The Woof Vet for all of your vet care.
