Very nice samoosas and goat curry. The cheese naan was lovely and full of soft cheese, one of the best around.

My wife has been here a couple of times and really liked it. We got take away last night. The butter chicken was pretty standard, not outstanding, the vegetarian dishes were good, particularly the Bombay potatoes. The garlic naan was tasty but very dense, not light which is how I like it. Overall, it was ok.

Was a great feed, we had a show across the road at 7:00pm and had booked dinner at 5:45pm. We were late to dinner (own fault) and arrived about 6:00pm. They seated us straight away and we had mentioned to the waiter we we’re seeing a show.
All staff were super friendly, food came out fast - even on a packed night! All Food was cooked perfectly and tasted amazing. Between 6 of us we all had a different main, entree and Naan bread. No complaints on any item.
We also were unable to finish our meals and the staff were kind enough to keep a takeaway box refrigerated until after our show finished

Friendly staff...excellent customer service. Chef was able to create dishes without garlic and onion for my guests who had restrictions, without compromising taste. Will definitely recommend and visit again.

First ⭐ great location, in the heart off the once vibrant subiaco, not far from the subiaco train station on the corner of Rokeby and Hay.
Second ⭐ service was accommodating and with a smile. They offered to make things right free of charge, which is a step up for Australia.
Third ⭐ food, although not what it used to be, tasty all the same. It is better then the majority of Indian out there and certainly worth the trip.
When I see chilly I expect it to be hot, 🔥 I understood Australians might not be used to chili 🌶️ but they should offer levels of heat to the customer

Awesome place, soothing and homely ambiance. Had Veggie Biryani, Jaipuri Kurkuri Bhindi and to end it, Ravalgaon Pan Pasand..wow, so nostalgic. Anuj made us feel really comfortable. Will definitely come back for Kurkuri Bhindi as my daughter loves it.

Tasty dishes at a reasonable price. Mango Lassi was rather enjoyable and refreshing. We selected one of the Banquets for 4 and that too turned out to be better than expected. Meat and vegetable dishes, not very spicy but full of taste. All served with Papadams, Pickles and Onion Salad (Kachumber). Finished off with Pista Kulfi, which tasted as good as it looked. Worth visiting again.

Came on Friday evening and all tables were taken. When a restaurant is full it's a good sign. And indeed the service was very friendly and the food was even better than we remembered it to be from our backpacking trip to India some time ago. We definitely will return there. Their Dahl Makhani is divine. Recommended for vegetarians.

Absolutely stellar Indian food. I'm always a bit Leary to try butter chicken at a new Indian restaurant because of the way too sweet and way too creamy nightmares out there, but this place does it spot on. The chicken is charred a bit for a fantastic smokey flavour with a not overly oily sauce and a perfect amount of sweetness. Got the $10 curry in a hurry for curry & rice.

I eat an excessive amount of Indian you can trust this review.

I went with a group of friend, and we tried 3 dishes: one was very good, one ok, and the last one I personally did not like it. Overall we paid $90, including a bottle of wine. Maybe I am not used to prices in Perth (apparently the city is quite expensive overall) but I found it a little bit pricey. Good service, nice environment. However, I did not like the fact that you need to go outside to get to the toilet. Overall, I think 3 stars is the fair evaluation.

One of my favourite Indian restaurants in Perth; good service and very tasty and well priced food.

I had the 'Curry in a Hurry' lunch special - a curry and rice for $10. There were a few curries to choice from but unfortunately chicken tikka masala didn't feature so I had the butter chicken. I left very full and satisfied.

Btw I would definitely recommend the chilli naan too.

We showed up on the one day that they don't offer the $16 veg banquet lunch meal (Sunday), but they were very accommodating and offered it to us regardless. I am glad they did - it was lovely! I am not sure I would be saying the same thing if I had paid the $50 pp price tag for the same thing on the regular menu, but hey, for $16pp (including a beer, wine or softie)?... its brilliant!

They had me at the outdoor wallpaper :-)

If there is a better Indian north of the river I am yet to find it. Lightning service, good food and a great atmosphere. The Tandoori salmon is a ripper. Great for groups, for date night go next door.

I was expecting so much more, maybe because its a Tuesday night but I have to say, I've had better. The Korma was really bland and the sauce was a little funky.

Probably wouldn't do it again.

The samosas here were terrific and unique, I think there were sesame seeds in the dough which added a nice texture. Everything we ate as part of our main meal was on point: chicken tikka masala, lamb vindaloo, and prawn lababdar. And cheesy naan, I could not get enough of this! Garlic naan was good too.

Visiting Perth and looking for a simple but good Indian restaurant on a hot night, we weren't disappointed by Chutney Mary's. This is a friendly, honest kind of place offering a typical range of Indian food, but it's the beautiful, subtle flavours and quality of the food which set it apart from so many others.

Staff were friendly and efficient and made us feel like we were regulars, despite it being our first visit. Prices might seem a little high, but worth it for the quality of the food.

Last day of work for the year for a lot of places, but Chutney Mary's was almost empty when our party of four arrived. I'm not sure why - this place is awesome!

The food is fantastic. I just wish I'd read the tips here before going, because then I would have tried the goat curry. Oh well, I better go back (as if I needed an excuse)!

Table for 24 please?
Why not! Considering we only booked 2 days in advance and it was a Friday evening, Chutney's did very well to accomodate our group which included two 8 week old infants!
The food is super and the servings are clearly intended for a member of Gulliver's family. A few of us ordered one of the non-veg banquets and as the food kept arriving I couldn't help but glance towards my belly and apologise in advance. The starters were delicious, some of the best onion bhajis I have ever tasted and the mains contained lots of highlights including the lamb rogan josh and
