MOST DEFINITELY NOT A 4 STAR HOTEL!
I booked for a family member arriving internationally. Making the booking over the phone was simple, but there were several things that made his 4 night stay a negative experience. One that has led me to a decision that I will never want to stay there, or send anyone else there.
He was arriving at night, so the room key was in a secure box, but instructions were not given on how to access the rooms via the alternate entrance, meaning we had to call for instructions.
My relative was also falsely accused of throwing his dirty bedsheets into the stair well, with

Disappointing service! Had to tay for 5 days. The first time I used the bathroom sink, it got blocked and water stuck in the sink and it took a couple of minutes to completely go down the drain! Got them to move me to another room, but after I came back on the second night, there were peaces of hair in the bath tub, although the room had supposedly been âhouse-keptâ! Upon my arrival on the third night, the dirty towel had not been collected and had been left in the bath tub!!

Itâs ok. Good sized bed, a/c and ceiling fan.
Good parking available.
Confusing staircase access to the above floor.
The guy at reception was more confused than helpful but I managed.
I asked about their âincluded breakfastâ well apparently that wasnât on in January but nothing told me that when I booked, so no food was included.
The biggest downside, the shower, thereâs no pressure, itâs hard to get the hot water temp right and youâre left freezing cold!
The jacuzzi tub although a nice touch didnât look like it had been cleaned.
Itâs probabky a good place to stay if youâre

I had the pleasure of staying here twice for about two months at a time and the experience I had was amazing. It's a very quant hotel at first look, but the small size means a very attentive and hospitable staff. The staff was incredibly helpful and interested in making my stay at their hotel and Australia a pleasant one.
My room was very clean and spacious. There was a lot of privacy. Though the channel selection is a bit limited, that didn't take away from the experience and the selection they had was good.
The food was also very nice. The meals and snacks they have at the Verona restaurant

My husband and I recently stayed at the Monash. What a pleasure it was to stay in this lovely, clean and comfortable hotel. The place is a credit to the staff who were friendly and helpful the whole time we stayed. We dined in-house and the meals were stunning with the menu giving a delightful range of choices. Can't wait for our next visit.
