Great restaurant with great ambiance. Ibterior design was unique and modern especially for the more traditional area which made it very much a stand out.
Food was fresh and had depth in flavours that made it well worth the pricing which was not too steep.
Highly recommend and hope they keep up the quality of food and service.

First time visiting the restaurant. Looking spectacular and well designed.
We ordered different dishes, including 3 kinds of delicious pizzas, gnocchi in mashroom and cream sauce, all were very lovely and we enjoyed them all.
The only dish we did not like was the porterhouse steak which was overcooked.
We orders deserts, all were good ! We asked the staff to put some candles on top and they were happy to help and sing with is happy birthday.
We will definitely be back.

A bit of preamble before the review; I sometimes just see a place that looks pretty and then check out their menu (and reviews of course) and take a gamble. Sometimes, that pays off in dividends, as is the case with Piccolino's.
So, to reiterate, the decor is lovely. Really eye-catching. They sat us upstairs and we could look down on the bar and the rest of the restaurant and it was busy. The menu is great. There's a good variety of options, and the food is reasonably priced. The waitresses were all quite friendly, and most entrees came to us quite quickly. Some of the entrees

Impressive architectural design and good atmosphere. I heard that the design here has won the design award, it deserves its name! Rich variety of food! Seafood spaghetti with white sauce is the best I have ever tasted! The large portion of their main course! The only disadvantage is that the parking in front of the door is only 1 hour, and there are not many parking spaces, so you can only park on the streets on both sides.

Second time dining at this restaurant and honestly had quite a mixed experience this time around.
The food was great, all the ingredients were fresh and overall really nice. The drinks however were a let down. You’re paying $17 for a cocktail here and let me put it out there, the passionfruit margarita is a big no. Doesn’t even taste like passionfruit, shocking aftertaste and at least half rim the salt because it isn’t for everyone. Also staff seemed to be too tense here giving it a bit of a negative vibe.
So overall, you’re paying big bucks, great food but less great everything else

Excellent experience right outside of the CBD.
Staff were very attentive and the dining atmosphere upstairs is fantastic.
Parking is a little tricky during busy times so make note of that.
Cocktail: Long-island, dangerously good - you don't feel the alcohol and then it hits you!
Garlic bread was really tasty, it would have been better accompanied with some mozzarella on top.
Chicken Tuscan pizza was cooked perfectly, right amount of ingredients.
Chips were very fresh and crunchy, which is always satisfying!
The gnocchi funghi was very satisfying: I always make an effort to try different

Not a bad crust.
It's not a cheap place, but a medium pizza will only set you back about $16, which isn't too bad considering what $16 will buy you these days.
It's a nice place to go when you want t go ut, but don't want to go far. They do take away, but the pizza does taste better when it's eaten piping hot.
The staff are nice, and the place is well set out and comfy, Dress smart casual. It's not a place where you can waltz in wearing your tracky dacks and a singlet, but you don't have to deck yourself out in a ball gown either.
Other than the pizza, the

Fairly expensive pizza, but really, really, super awesome. You got a date with a pizza-enthusiast and you want to go somewhere local? This place is a really good choice.
The service is pretty good, waiters and waitresses very polite, and when your plates come out, they're not virtually tossed at you like some other places I've been.
The pizzas themselves are excellent. Piccolino use really good ingredients to make them, the crust is thin (exactly how it should be), and they aren't dripping with more oil than the Exxon Valdez. For a suburban pizza place, this is pretty phenomenal
