A continental breakfast is provided each morning while you stay with us. Enjoy this in our upstairs area, while looking out over the river and taking in the sweeping views of the valley, river and distant mountains. I have travelled Tasmania many times and this has to be up there as the most pleasurable stay, the tranquility, the set-up, the lovely vegie-garden and the great views.

Considering the budget cost of this accommodation it was good value for money.
After negotiating the dreadfully steel and difficult driveway the first thing that hits you is the lovely river view.
The one bedroom until has a cosy feel and is set up with a very minimal cooking facility . The shower and toilet are as tiny as you could make them but quite adequate for a short stay.
The lady proprietor was very welcome and very willing to help.
On the downside the unit could have been better prepared as it lacked knives forks and a tea towel all of which were willingly provided upon request.

My wife & I returned home today after 2 nights there. The bedroom was clean & bed was very comfy. Bathroom was clean & tea/coffee/kettle/bar fridge were all fine.
Only negative was we were woken up at 8am by the noise upstairs by someone repeatedly opening and closing a glass sliding door, something you don’t want at 8 in the morning on your holiday. Also the driveway & parking space is incredibly narrow and very difficult to manoeuvre. So that’s why I give 3 out of 5 stars. Nice owners though
