Fantastic getaway, loved our two nights that we stayed. More so however, Wayne went above and beyond for us, on the way up springbrook mountain our car broke down, after calling Wayne he kindly offered to come pick us up and then dropped us off again after our stay. He didnt need to do that but in doing so eased alot of stress at the start of the holiday! Will be going back.

The chalet we stayed in was decadently furnished and decorated. There was great attention to detail in providing all necessary kitchen and bathroom supplies. Situated on the edge of a rushing stream the chalet was very private. It was perfect for a romantic escape. The food packages were good value and beautifully presented. Wayne was very accomodating with all our food package requests. It was a magical experience from the moment we entered the grounds to the moment we left. We look forward to returning in the near future.

- Being surrounded by stunning national park rainforest added to the overall ambience felt very special and romantic

- Lots of bed covers, heated blanket, blankets on the couch helped take the cold edge off
- Basics like tea and coffee were supplied which we appreciated
- Cute wildlife right at your doorstep (be mindful of possums breaking into the outside bin)
- Amenities well maintained
- Absolutely loved the local walks and waterfalls

I really enjoyed my stay at the Mouses House. It was extremely cosy and a great, private, atmosphere. There is wear and tear around the chalet, but I think that's normal for these types of places, though it's nothing to be worried about I don't think. The staff are super friendly and helpful. There is also a fireplace, it was rainy while we were there, so we were able to still enjoy a fire in December Make sure to take a jacket, I didn't and regretted it! :') If you need, the place also has internet (not that you should want it on a trip away) but be prepared as it's super slow and there is no

We stayed in "Bashful" for two nights and it was just beautiful. What a lovely view and the water flowing past was beautiful. We had a few food hampers which were all amazing and Anthony was always so helpful despite being very busy. Thanks mate👍. We also had a one hour massage each at the same time which was AMAZING! They come right to your chalet and are so friendly and professional. Thanks Annette and Angela. Check out "Springbrook massage and beauty." They are local and really awesome to deal with. A must do stay - absolutely stunning chalets in beautiful, peaceful settings, very private and totally puts you in relaxation mode - definitely recommend the add on food platters for breakfast and dinners, all… the food was top quality, our picnic basket was also just amazing ! Cannot fault this place in any way - 100% recommended !! ❤️

Spent an extended long weekend here with my partner celebrating our five year anniversary and WOW what an amazing place to add to our memories. The chalet was warm and cozy, feeling like being at home straight away. Wayne was extremely welcoming and friendly. Was a really beautiful place to stay and furnished with all you need you feel at home. Loved the fireplace inside and having the spa was awesome. Thank you so much for such an incredible experience and we definitely can't wait to return again soon!

This was the most amazing getaway me and my wife have had ! Great service! The chalet was so beautiful, the spa on our deck was so relaxing. Our breakfast hamper was fresh and tasty. Even when a big storm hit, we had a amazing afternoon in front of the fire, with boardgames and plenty of movies on the TV. This holiday was worth every cent. Will definitely be back again soon 👌🙌😁

Wow! Everything was amazing. My partner and I stayed here in 2020 and got engaged in snow white and got married in 2021 and had our honeymoon in snow white 1 year later. It is as breathtaking as we remember. Got excited as we arrived because we had such a beautiful time last yearl (we did take a few movies as the internet isn't the greatest, but being in the wood's it's better than you think) My partner used all the wood within the first few days and Wayne was more than happy to help him get some more (made my partner extremely happy). Would 1000% recommend The Mouses House, you won't be disappointed

I have been their 2 times now and loved every minute.. the stay is like nothing I have experienced before… pure nature… romantic cabins … perfect to unwind and watch the fire.. or use the hot tube .. such… beautiful scenery… watching the creek flow down … and the service from the owners were second to none.. they even went out of their way to bring my daughter much loved teddy bear to her was unbelievably generous of them.. truely refreshing… I would go again in a heartbeat… Tanya

I stayed here back in October 2013 for our honeymoon. I had been told by friends who had previously stayed that it was a great place and we were not let down. We arrived way past office hours and we're thankful for the directions to our cabin and for having the heater left on for us as the weather had turned chilly.
The cabin was very clean and private with lots of comfortable extras. We were just thrilled to be able to relax with so much privacy. Staff we're very helpful if we did need anything, including arranging a tour and local bush walks.

This place is absolutely beautiful so I think it is a shame that it is not run better. The owner was only mildly friendly, polite but a little condescending to us. When paying this much money for a nice place there are basic things one expects. For instance, for the kindling and wood to be dry enough to build a fire. If that does not work then I expect the heater to be a working, clean and maintained device. Neither of these things were the case. They store their wood in a messy heap under a tarp so it is no wonder it is not dry enough to easily make a proper fire. When the heater didn't work
