I took my dog in as I suspected a tick due to a change in balance and walking coordination and problems with eating. The vet and vet nurse told me there was no tick and it was likely a neurological disorder and next steps were to get blood tests and MRI, no tick treatment required. Two days later my dog has progressed and is completely unresponsive and I find a paralysis tick fully enlarged on her leg. I took her to another vet who told me this could have been avoided if it had been removed and treated by the original vet. She is dead a few hours later.

Most beautiful vet I've ever been to!! My dog has quite bad anxiety around new people, grooming and all things medical. All the staff were so lovely with him and said how sweet he was, which made me so happy knowing he was well looked after and met with empathy and understanding. They went above and beyond. Couldn't recommend this vet more!! Thank you!
