We are a semi-retired couple who love entertaining. We always wanted to owner-build our dream home, only to realise that we never dreamed it would take so long or cost so much. But now that it's finished we'd like to welcome you to BellbirdHill Bed & Breakfast so you can enjoy some time in this beautiful part of the country.
As you sit out on the veranda you'll hear the sound of the Bell Miner or Bellbird that rings out from the trees behind the property. We also have two resident Wedge Tailed Eagles as well as King Parrots, Crimson and Eastern Rosellas, Galahs and Black Cockatoos, to name just a few of the species that call this area home.
This is our largest room with sweeping panoramic views over the Manning Valley. It has a queen sized 4 poster bed and ensuite with spa bath, shower and double vanity and is the ultimate in relaxation. Celebrating all things Australiana, this room is spacious with a queen sized bed and ensuite and has stunning views overlooking the Manning River.
BellbirdHill Bed & Breakfast is located about 20 kilometres west of Taree and 10 kilometres from Wingham on the Mid North Coast of New South Wales. It is the ideal holiday destination with a huge amount to see and do right on our doorstep. The Manning valley has some of the most unique and spectacular National Parks and nature reserves in NSW.
There are several ways to get to BellbirdHill Bed & Breakfast. The easiest and most direct is from the Pacific Highway. Turn off to Taree (2km) and travel through to Wingham (10km), then south on the Gloucester Road. Turn right into Nowendoc Road (7km) and then left into Karaak Flat Road (1km). We are 2.98km down the road.

This is one of the best Bed & Breakfast we have stayed in. The rooms were exceptionally clean and comfortable. The generous sized ensuite made the stay very enjoyable. The hosts Les & Pete have great local knowledge and were attentive to all our needs. Sitting under their beautiful pergola, in the peaceful surroundings whilst enjoying our deliciously cooked breakfast and having the King parrots look on, was one of the many highlights of our stay. Thank you to Pete and Les for making our stay such a fabulous experience, We are already planning our next visit at BellbirdHill.

Excellent stay in an excellent b&b! Stayed at bellbird hill to break up our recent trip from Sydney to the nor the coast, although a 30min detour from the motorway, the location is so relaxing and picturesque - it’s well worth the detour, so much so that we’ll stay for longer next time. Rooms were spacious enough for 2 adults, travel pram and our doggo, and the guest facilities were second to none. In fact I would return for the breakfast prepared by the hosts alone! Peter and his wife were amazing and welcoming... we’ll be back soon!

I highly recommend BellbirdHill B&B to anybody who is looking for a luxurious stay in a perfectly maintained bed and breakfast on the countryside. Les and Pete welcome you in their home as friends, willing to do anything to ensure you have a perfect stay. The room was, in just one word, just perfect. You will never get enough of the view that is just outside your window. The common guest area is designed to relax. Although I disappointed Les with not ordering a hot breakfast, their dinner was perfect. Les and Pete a great host, always in for a chat when you want to.
