Services
Vineyard Veterinary Hospital offers three large, state-of-the-art operating theatres, each fully-equipped to provide your pet with the first-class care and treatment they deserve. We provide a range of surgical procedures designed to heal a breadth of ailments and restore quality of life, including soft tissue, orthopaedic and dental surgeries, along with cryosurgery.
Vineyard Veterinary Hospital owner, Dr Rob Zammit, has been breeding dogs since 1968, and produced his first litter of puppies via frozen semen in 1977. In 2015, Dr Zammit successfully produced a litter of five puppies using semen that had been frozen and stored at the Vineyard Veterinary Hospital since 1976.
Vineyard Veterinary Hospital offers a full, on-site laboratory, allowing our veterinarians to perform a variety of diagnostic tests in-house, eliminating the delays associated with sending common samples to external laboratories for analysis.
Using our on-site laboratory we routinely perform tests including blood chemistries, complete blood counts, blood clotting times, urinalysis, faecal tests, and biopsy examinations, allowing us to achieve accurate and rapid diagnosis for your pet.

We recently attended this practice when we tragically lost our little one. The nurse that attended to us was amazing and although we should have been waiting outside (covid) she found us a quiet little corner to wait. She was so gentle with our little girl and even organised her cremation. She was such a comfort to us....Thankyou.

Dr Barnett is one of the most professional and knowledgeable veterinarians that I have met. He gave us hope as he tried everything to save our pet Mittens. He didn't make it and Dr Barnett showed such compassion and told us not to worry about settling the account until we were ready. I would recommend this practice for quality and compassionate service.

We took our dog here after an accident. He needed major surgery and hospital stay. Dr Zammit and his team assured us they would do everything they could to get the dog well and keep the cost down. I couldn't recommend a more honest family owned practise. There's a reason they have been in business so long, I now know why.

Vineyard vet is one of many vets in this area, but stands out from others due to the great loving care that the animals get.
Rob Zammit is the main man to see in my opinion, he was recommend to us by our breeder and is very good with German shepherds.
Prices are fairly good for the service and care vineyard vet puts into every animal that comes in. The only bummer is with most appointment based services they are almost always 10-15minutes late.
To me it's worth the wait because you want your furry family to have the best care out there.
