Bistro Report

Our Bistro is opened 7 days a week, from 12pm to 9pm everyday! The Kooringal Hotel Bistro is known for great, traditional pub meals and there is something for everyone. We offer a family friendly bistro with a kids play area for the little ones. In our kitchen we use fresh and local produce from the Riverina region to deliver variety to your meal.

Sports & Community Report

At the Kooringal Hotel, the aim of our annual sponsorship programs of local sporting clubs is to assist, develop, promote, advance and encourage all sporting and community activities in and around the Wagga Wagga Region.

We sponsor a number of different sporting teams around Wagga including, Wagga City Rugby Club (which is our major sponsor), East Wagga Kooringal Hawks, Saint Michael's Cricket Club, Henwood Park FC, Royals Hockey Club, Wagga Brother Junior Rugby League, Turvey Park Softball & Eastlakes JNR (ALF/Netball).

Last couple of months we noticed one of the kitchen staff is rude all the time. Simple requests are replied rudeness. Just today we requested for a takeaway pizza box, I was arrogantly told next time go to the bar to ask for it. Last time, was Asking for a tomato sauce, rudely gave but was told next time you include in your order. Never polite like the other staff serving. Please teach this guy some manners or work ethics!

Food was horrible. Burnt chips with the kids meal. Burnt and dried out nocho’s with the tiniest bit of mince I paid a extra $6 for. Also had plastic in my nachos! Went back and showed the kitchen tired offering me a kids meal as a replacement. Horrible

We came here every Monday night for a few months, the staff still acted like they had never seen us before every time we went in. Never friendly, never say hello. Quite the opposite of friendly actually.

Seriously the worst, most overpriced pub meal I think I've had in the last 20 years. Simply nothing nice to say about it - at all. $38 is dear for a scotch fillet - then I was charged 6$ for salad, mash and sauce!. Pepper grinder was broken and dropped all over my steak - chef didn't care.

I have had several meals at the Kooringal Hotel during my many visits to Wagga Wagga over the last eight years. The meals have been well priced with generous amount of food on the plate. On my current visit to Wagga I had a meal at Kooringal Hotel. I was disappointed. The menu has changed. I ordered battered baramundi (fish). The fish was cold the battered chips were soggy. Another meal order at my table was grilled barramundi, battered chips and salad. The fish was a much smaller fillet than my order. It was also cold with soggy chips. The kitchen at the Kooringal Hotel will have to improve before

Nice clean establishment. Wasn't too busy on a Sunday night for dinner. Reasonable prices. Had the chicken snity with Diane sauce. The chicken was moist and delicious and went well with the sauce. Would like to see 2 sides included as standard with the dish eg. Chips and salad, rather than just getting the option of one and paying extra for another.

Main meals were of a high standard with all meals well prepared and came with generous proportions. After 45 Min waiting after we finished our meal. Child desert had not arrived. We had to ask 3 waiters to finally receive a single serving of cake and ice cream

Very disappointed. To start off with we had booked a cabana for 7pm however when we arrived no table was set aside for us. A table was cleared and wiped down for us however food was still left in the middle trey, unwiped.
We went on to order 3 entrees and 2 mains however after paying we were told that despite the lamb shakes being advertised as Gf… available, they were in fact not gluten free nor could they be made gluten free. No refund was offered when I exchanged the shanks for a cheaper meal either.
To top the night off my partners Medium rare steak was rare at best and only 1 of our

Went to a 50th birthday party in the function room. No cost for the room,just have to provide the food etc + leave the room clean.
I can't recommend it enough,was a great afternoon...

Food was nice, bar staff friendly. We were sitting at a table with our parents. The security guard stood for about an hr staring. We asked him to smile - he said ‘you all are showing signs of intoxication this is last drinks’ and kicked us out. Whilst people came and went bearly able to walk being so drunk. Bar staff were apologetic and embarrassed of the security. Definitely left a bad taste and will not be going back!

Good place to have drinks in Wagga Wagga. Price is reasonable. Staff is friendly and I was offered free drinks. They have good side dish options for drinks. Even though their pizzas are not the best but large enough for about 4 people.
