Oscars offers an extensive Mediterranean style menu that caters for each individual. My husband and I were lucky enough to have dinner at Oscars 3 times during our honeymoon.

Thank you to the staff for their wonderful service, and to the chefs for our delicious food. Each time we dined we had a fantastic experience, even on one particular occasion where it was really busy. Our food was still delicious and the staff were attentive and lovely. We don't live locally, but will definitely be back!

As always, excellent Eggs Benedict. Service was first-rate. Always enjoy eating here. Stains of classic rock in the background helps the digestion, too!

I give Oscar's 3 stars not because their food was bad it was very good, not because service was bad that was very good. I give 3 stars because my husband and I went there for breakfast and paid around 20.00 for scrambled eggs but we understand inflation and the cost of food. What shocked me is we paid 6.58 for hot tea. We paid 6.58 for 2 hot teas. We got a pot of water with 2 lemon slices for close to 7.00. Sorry if you're going to gouge me for a tea bag then I'll just stay home. Eating out is nice but after paying that much today for 1 tea bag and a pot of hot water, next time I'll stay home and

We were there on Sunday morning before the church crowd. We had a 20 minute wait, which was not too bad. The restaurant moved people in and out quickly. Our server took our order promptly and kept our coffee filled and hot. The food was prepared quickly and correctly. Even though our server was extremely busy, he managed to check back with us frequently, to see if we needed anything.

Servers were very friendly. Food was great and so was the price. We will be back. The photo is of a keto friendly dish. Very tasty. We live about an hour ten minutes away and don't get to Jefferson City very often but, when we do you can bet we will be eating here.

Great burgers, great service! We ordered take out and was very pleased. We didn't have to wait, the staff was super friendly and the place is decorated so cute and very, very clean. The burgers were good and made exactly how we ordered. We will be back to enjoy Oscar's! A very nice place with excellent food at a decent price.

Not bad. The toasted ravioli was super good. I tried the catfish and found the fillers were on the thin side. The chicken fried steak was cooked well but the white gravy is a bit on the peppered side. Overall a good place to eat.

Always room for improvement, wheelchair access wise, also food in general.
The staff are great quality of the service is on point, I feel that the food was a disappointment this time around. I'm not sure if there is a new chef, but I guess if there is. Many need to try and up there game, as I feel this business has so much potential.

Atmosphere is great, I would suggest everyone give this place a go. I will be back as I do enjoy the venue, every business deserves a quarterly comeback.

The food was good but too much pasta on spaghetti. I enjoyed the service thank you and you forgot to take the empty wine glass away when a new one was placed on the table. But other than that it was really good.

Although we waited 25 minutes and the food is on the pricier side, it was delicious and they are very generous with portion sizes. It had a lovely, warm atmosphere and helpful staff. They have some good vegan options as well. I highly recommend the Mediterranean pizza.

Definately a place to visit!!!
Have been here a few times now & each time the food & service is always fantastic.
This time we came on a glorious winter Sunday arvo for lunch - outside in the sun & the food & service was incredible. We loved our waitress, who was extremely helpful and friendly & made jokes about the cocktails. (Forgot to ask her name)
Great varied menu & wine list. The house red & sparkling white were extremely good!
Thank you for the glorious meals. So nice to see a great cocktails menu!!

We got the Margherita and the Oscar pizza. They were both ok, needed more flavour, maybe fewer topping, more herbs, and definitely more seasoning.

Oscar's knows how to handle larger groups and does it well. On a break from our wine tasting excursion, 23 of us popped into Oscar's for a delicious meal. The menu, while heavy on the pizza and flat bread, was varied and something for everyone can be found. I ordered a (very
generous) Mediterranean salad and added grilled chicken ($14.5 + 4.5=$19). Everyone was served efficiently and we were on our way to the next tasting. Well done, Oscar's!

Good spot in McLaren Vale and offers varied menu in a welcoming environment. There is plenty of seating in and outside.
The food is good and average meal is about $20. The pizza is good and seemed popular as a take out option too! The pasta we had was good but a little bland.

Oscars is a main drag Italian eatery in Mclaren Vale, with easy parking/access and a good reputation. Great and efficient service, plentiful seating, good for children, and an extensive menu featuring pizza and pasta but also a lot more, perhaps too much. Typically they also offer quality local wines and anyone that wouldn't would probably be berated for it. The pizza and pasta dishes we had were good but not great - the pasta a little too creamy, the pizza lacking flavour etc. It wasn't bad and we didn't complain, but their prices are average, not cheap, and you expect a certain

After dining at oscars a couple of days ago I'm changing from 4 to 3 stars.

The food isn't as good as it used to be. The pizza didn't have enough topping and was average in general. The flatbread was basically a very doughy pizza and wasn't very tasty, again not terrible but not above average.

The good things are that the service is quite good, it's child friendly and has a lovely outdoor dining area. The food on the menu looks great according to the descriptions and with a better chef has so much potential.

There are other, better restaurants on the street though so

I am a big fan of Oscars! McLaren Vale is full of gorgeous restaurants and wineries ... but Oscars is one of those places that serves good ol' pizza and pasta at very reasonable prices, and even though it's always busy, there is almost always a spare table available.

It's also a great kid-friendly option, as the place is pretty noisy anyway ;) When we visited yesterday, there was a noisy bunch of young people who just got off a wine-tasting bus (aka drunks) ... but at least the staff put them in their own area outside.

We started with a delicious Pate platter, which was served

Oscars is located on the main street at mclaren vale. Came here for lunch while on a wine trip was 18 of us. Sat outside was put onto two tables near each other. The food was great, i had the special pie of the day and it was great, the only down side was the service, was a bit slow and not all the food came out, had a few extra side dishes to come.

Fairy modest and relaxed cafe/restaurant with pleasant outdoor seating. We've eaten here a great number of times over the years since it has opened (I have family who live in the Vale), and honestly, the quality of the food has gone up and down (maybe there was a change or two in management or ownership during thus time), though today we found both the food and service to be great.

The food is good value for money (I recently compared their prices to some of the newcomers in the area), and as far as busyness and service, well... I advise booking in advance on the weekend, or go during the
