Tombo owners Brad and Ashlee met during the 1980's and later combined their skills to establish Tombo in 2006. Tombo means dragonfly in Japanese, hence our logo which was taken from an vintage summer kimono, one that we still own. Brad has been restoring Japanese and Chinese antiques since 1989 and Ashlee has worked solely with vintage Japanese fabrics
