Our dental practitioner can remove plaque and tartar from your teeth, kill mouth bacteria, and maintain your teeth and gums in good health. Maintain good oral hygiene by brushing your teeth twice a day and visiting the dentist once every six months.
If your tooth is decayed or damaged, you will need a filling. At North Beach Dental, you'll find the best quality white fillings that will be colour matched to look just like your natural teeth. We have amalgam-free fillings made of resin. They are long lasting and almost invisible. Made chiefly of acrylic, they have no toxic substances and can stabilise the structure of your tooth.
Root canal treatment or root filling is performed when a particularly large cavity has affected the nerve chamber of the tooth. Under this treatment, your dentist will remove the dead or damaged nerves in the root of the tooth. The empty space is then filled with sealing material. Alternatives to root canal treatment include extraction of the tooth/ teeth and replacement with dentures, bridges, or implants.

Very happy to recommend North Beach Dental for any family dental requirements. The staff are always friendly and inviting and provide an efficient service (plus message reminder!!) Dr Shoko is happy to take the time to explain any issues and provide recommendations for future requirements which puts me as a parent at ease. And thank you to Seyanna and Dr Shoko with being so patient with my not-so-happy 4 year old getting his teeth looked at!

My family has been attending North Beach Dental over the last few years...and we are so happy! Dr Shoko is professional, gentle, caring, informative, uses modern methods & is wonderful with children. I have found the staff in general all very kind too & it’s such a lovely, clean environment. Another bonus is that they are Medibank affiliated. I would highly recommend NBD.

I am so happy with the service that I receive at NBD. I have some complex dental issues, along with the regular dental maintenance and have been really impressed with the treatment I have received so far. The team keep you informed and are warm and welcoming; especially good for a nervous patient. Dr Shoko is extremely gentle. I can not recommend this practice highly enough. Thank you NBD team!

I've been attending North Beach Dental for about 6 years now and have always been extremely happy with all the Dental work that I've had done. Dr Shoko Tsuchiya has been there the last couple of years and is extremely professional and has a kind and gentle approach. Her team that she works with are delightful and caring. I've never been keen on having dental work done but they are all so efficient that I have no issues going to get my teeth looked after now. It is great that we have these local treasures. I have recently started going to this dental clinic through a friends recommendation, in the last half a year. I was scared after previous bad experiences at other dentists. I would highly recommend them and have been telling many friends. The dentist is very gentle, even the needle when needed I can hardly feel. She cares about the patient and wants to ensure they feel minimal pain. All the staff are lovely and make you feel welcome.

I was looking for a nice local dentist after using a Perth dental chain for some time and not enjoying seeing a new dentist nearly each visit over the last 8 years. So having moved around the corner I decided to ask around for recommendations. Was referred to this small local service and have been delighted from the beginning. When I presented to the reception I was offered an appointment that day and told I had come to the right place! My new dentist was charming and friendly and more important took care that fillings were as pain free as possible. Thoroughly recommend the attention to detail

First time at this Dental Surgery - found all staff to be very friendly and professional. And most important - honest about the work needed to be done - Nice to know that you don't need to get work done that is not required for once. Dentist really has your needs in mind and listens to your concerns. Highly recommend
