Live and free every Saturday Night from 9pm. Gold Dust Lounge plays host to Bendigo's best cover bands including venue favourites like 'Harlem' and 'Soul Contact'. We have a Happy Hour until the bands start at 9:30pm and are open til late. We are also open Sunday nights from 9pm every week with Karaoke / Hospo night.
Check in is anytime after 2.00pm daily. Check out is before 10.00am Monday - Saturday and before 11.00am on Sunday. Early check in and late check out can be arranged prior to your booking. A late check out fee of $50.00 applies if guests have not pre arranged this with Reception staff. If your room is available we can check you in, if not we can store your bags in a lock up facility for you until your room is ready.

The ranga in the sportsbar needs to brush up on his manners and learn the rules regarding wearing masks due to covid ,i have a lawful reason for not wearing a mask but he demanded to see an exemption ,told him there is no such thing and maybe should check the Vic government site to brush up on his knowledge regarding the matter in future ,im triple vaxxed and would love to be able to wear a mask , this is the first time i have been asked in the 2 years, i might add he acted like a total meathead the way he smirked at me as he demanded i leave, management need to keep there staff updated on Vic

Beautiful hotel, great location. Large room suite extremely comfortable with all the modern amenities. Very high ceilings which was a feature. Staff were pleasent and help full. Parking was located at the rear via council car park $8.00 per 24 hours. There is direct hotel access on level one. Recommended if you're staying in Bendigo.

What a fantastic venue. Had a good breakfast here today, no bells and whistles but well cooked and good value. Came out quickly, the solo cook should be commended. The highlight was the service... covid checking, table service, serving, clearing and cleaning, making coffees, settling bills, helping with drinks lists, checking on all the tables and there were a few...by just ONE bright helpful and efficient young lady named Skye. Shamrock Hotel I'd be holding onto this one !!

We had a pretty bad meal tonight at the Shamrock. The ribs were served stone cold with what looked and tasted like gravy rather than a Jack Daniels glaze My partner’s meal was prawns on congealed white rice with what was meant to be mango and sweet chilli sauce but was a pink sauce without any sign of chilli and some sort of mango sauce. Pretty disappointed.

Staff did their best but management found lacking. Faulty door locking meant I was locked out of my room for over an hour late at night. Complimentary drink while I waited, but no formal apology or reduction of bill. Gorgeous building, but lack of customer service spoilt stay. Needs to be more mindful of in house guests' needs. More professional and personable receptionist would help.
