Friendly staff is just the beginning. The food is sensational and a single main is big enough to feed a family.
Well done. Keep doing what you're doing.

The food here was really amazing. Certainly correct when you say tricked up pub food! I ordered the Kangaroo and it was cooked to perfection cut like butter the salad and warm root vegetables paired with goats cheese cheese made the match complete, well done.

Excellent customer service & great food. Music was great too. Friendly place with a few interesting brews on tap. Certainly worth checking out next time you're in Castlemaine. Easy parking. Close to the Botanical Gardens.

The food and service was second to none. The staff were very accommodating as we arrived without a booking on a Saturday night. I would recommend it.

Worst so called vegan burger ever tasted, very disappointing. The online menu shows a few vegan options that sounded good, but the staff had never heard of them if you are vegan this is not the place for you

Extremely relaxing and well loved hotel. Quality band playing today "Fulton Street" from Melbourne who soothed my soul with soul and jazz. The courtyard is so cosy and aesthetically pleasing. 🌿 Exceptional for kids with sandpit, and dogs are allowed, very lovely to observe.
An amazing variety of food and very good servings. Caters to vegans and vegetarians. Wine variety of good quality and locally sourced. A venue I will definitely return to for friendly atmosphere, music and delicious food.

Great food. No baby change table though so the sofa cushions sufficed. Some meals on our table got a bit delayed but when it came it was great. We got two small plates and one main to share between two adults. The cob lettuce salad was particularly amazing.
