Services
Psychology Melbourne was founded by our director and principal psychologist, Jill Wright, MAPS, AAFT, AICD in 2007 and has evolved from a small clinical practice to a national organisation employing more than 45 psychologists servicing individuals, organisations and corporate clients.

Psychology Melbourne is committed to helping people improve their mental health and wellbeing, assisting them through personal, work and relationship difficulties and introducing them to strategies that can fundamentally change and enrich their lives.
Psychology Melbourne's team of over 60 psychologists are mostly located in our Melbourne CBD clinic, at 50 Queen Street near the corner of Collins Street. The rest are based in surrounding Melbourne suburbs, with many of our psychologists working in more than one location. To arrange an appointment with any of our psychologists please call our reception on 03 9629 1001, by email or you can book directly online for appointments in the CBD.
Psychology Melbourne provides more than just one-on-one counselling. Our team of more than 60 psychologists offer counselling for mental health issues; relationship, marriage and family issues and workplace issues. We also offer Psychological Testing, Short Courses, and Coaching. We recommend that your first step is a Personal Matching Session with one of our trained psychologists.
Most of our psychologists work in the Melbourne CBD Clinic, and the rest in different locations across Melbourne. You can find out all about our psychologists - when, where and what issues they work with - on our online booking portal or you can call our reception on 03 96291001. We recommend that your first step is a Personal Matching appointment.
Online counselling via secure video and telephone services provides access to expert, effective psychological help, without having to leave home or the office. To arrange an online counselling appointment, call our Client Services team on (03) 9629 1001, or email them at clientservices@psychologymelbourne.com.au or use the live chat on our website.

Best to avoid sadly. Their matching service seems fine and the person was quite nice. For $150 of course which is unclaimable. But worth the money to get a good psychologist right? So I was matched. With a psychologist who I'm sure is ok for the right clients, but I think I was put into the LGTBQI box which is fine as I am a part of that community. That doesn't mean they can grab the next LGTBQI councillor on their books and we will click. It felt lazy. I tried to set ground rules about what I would be comfortable discussing which were ignored. Which is fine as we are supposed to be taken out of

What can go wrong, will go wrong. In a space that's supposed to look after people and support healthy mental health, they have done nothing but cause extreme stress and anxiety.
DO NOT RECOMMEND!
You are just stuck in an automated process that will create a long and strenuous experience with no help at the end of it, oh and it'll cost you!

I had a hard few months in the lockdown, my mental health kept going up and down and I felt very hard to motivate myself in the best of times so I reached out for some support from this practice and was so happy with the effort and work they put in. I was not only connected with the right person suited to my needs, but the support from the admin staff was beyond amazing. Highly recommend.

I recently used Psychology Melbourne through my workplace EAP - The stress and pressures of COVID had caused some real problems for myself and also in my relationship. The issues were complex and multifaceted. Psychology Melbourne paired me and my partner with a great Psychologist that got quickly to the root of our problems and provided some great tools for us to use in our communication. Robert also quickly identified another issue of mine and supported me a lot in me searching for MY solution to this issue, a great service which I would recommend.

I've been going to psychology Melbourne for some time and have seen two practitioners who are both great.
Recently I had an issue pertaining to a misunderstanding between my practitioner and the reception staff at the practice, however this was dealt with quickly and efficiently once identified.

Prepaid for appointment, appointment cancelled with 10 minutes notice, no answer to phone, voice message, or email.
EDIT:
Office manager responded to this complaint the following day, and rebooked the appointment after several days, and then they tried to charge me for it AGAIN, only relenting after a call to VCAT.
ATROCIOUS CUSTOMER HANDLING.

I highly recommend Psychology Melbourne!
I have completed one of their online courses and have really enjoyed the course content. The sessions are informative and overall have provided me with the skills, information and guidance I was expecting to receive.
Knowing the courses are run by Professional Psychologists provided me with the confidence I needed to enrol with Psychology Melbourne. Furthermore, this ensured the skills and information being taught were practical, appropriate, and updated with current studies and practices.

I have attended several workshops at psychology Melbourne and I really admire their commitment to raising the standard of counselling and professional knowledge amongst psychologists. The classes are reasonably priced and the speakers are well prepared and helpful. There is also the opportunity to network with other attendees and form valuable links with the rest of the profession.

I have been seeing Jill Wright for over a year and can honestly say it is one of the best things I have done for myself and well being. Jill is professional, supportive, caring and has saved me from the deepest darkest time that I have been going through. I urge anyone to please see any of the wonderful team at Psychology Melbourne for whatever problem you feel you might have. They will have the perfect person to help you and I can assure you that you will be in the best hands. The reception and admin team are always friendly and greet you with a smile which we all need!
