Please be aware management might approach you and ask you to move to a different area in order for numbers to meet the 1 person per 4m2 rule. Social distancing of patrons with a maximum limit of 30 people per table/ a 1.5m distance between different social groups.

We are using disinfectants as well as sanitizers on all tables, chairs, bars and other surfaces such as gaming machines and ATM's. We booked this hotel 3 rooms in November 2021 for 29th January 2022, we have been told they are refurbishing the hotel and will be closed for the whole month! It is our 50th Anniversary and Bournemouth is where we met.. So no we did not want to move our date, and why did they not know this was going to take place when we booked. I have asked for the refund of a large amount of money , which they say has been returned to my account but could take 15 days !!!!!!! thank you so much, after ruining our celebrations and upsetting the family, we have to wait over 2 weeks to get our money back

My wife and I stayed for 2 nights at the Collingwood Hotel, Bournemouth just after Christmas, to celebrate our Diamond Wedding Anniversary. We treated 19 members of our family [some from the USA , to a dinner and an overnight stay - We were so pleased that we had chosen this venue - The hotel management and staff put in so much work and effort to ensure that every aspect of our special ocassion - such as the food, service, bedrooms and complaince with the Covid restrictions were to the highest standard,

Not what was advertised..
I’m sorry to say I’m very disappointed with my stay there.
From even before we got there to be fair.
I had to phone them to ask about confirmation from them about my stay.
The receptionist came across rude and couldn’t be bothered
To be disappointed with the room it was dark with a few problems along the way to have to pay for the parking.
The bathroom was outdated with loose floor tiles to a loose toilet seat. Old un matching tape the shower if you could call it that which was not much good as he no pressure.
We went to pull the curtains that night you could

The hotel was lovely, myself, my husband, daughter and our labrador stayed for a couple of nights. Dog friendly hotel, this was a mini break and first time with our dog. The staff were friendly and food at the hotel was impressive. We had booked breakfast and evening meals there. The beach was 5 minutes away.

Having telephoned them and ascertained that their bar area would accommodate guests with dogs for breakfast and a drink in the evening (unlike many others in Bournemouth), I booked through Booking.com a deluxe double room and my husband and I looked forward to our stay. I was surprised then, when in an email inviting us to “upgrade” two days before our arrival, I discovered that the hotel had changed our booking to a "cosy double" room without telling us. I telephoned them again and discovered that dogs are only allowed in these rooms but not the deluxe double rooms. We were offered the option

I was staying 3 night in family room. Room 302 was dated and noisy. No air conditioning. Bathroom Door had no lock did not close Fan provided was noisy. One hour checkin delays. Parking £30. No compensation offered when complained. Another small room offer 205 which was less noisy so accepted. Bathroom Door did not close Pool area dirty
