Amazing team on reception. Shame about the bar & terrace, but nice bar on the first floor. Room was clean, modern and comfortable and the housekeeping team were great. Quite a central location too. Probably wouldn't stay here again purely due to the fact the hotel is quite dated and there is so much choice.

The hotel is ideally located for the Pier Head and the Albert Dock. The staff are all friendly and helpful. We had two breakfasts and one dinner. The food was well presented and tasty. We got a free upgrade and our room overlooked the river with a fantastic view of the Liver Building. The bed was king sized and very comfortable and warm. As in most hotels these days the lack of decent lighting was problematic. The bathroom was compact including the bath itself. The shower was very powerful and the water was always hot. Good value for money and I would stay again.

The experience from start to finish was incredible. Customer service was amazing. Kerry at the front desk went above and beyond for my husband and I. I am 7 months pregnant, unwell and had had a long journey and Kerry was outstanding, so friendly, helpful, I can’t be more thankful.
At breakfast the next day I was craving pancakes and despite this not being part of the buffet or an option, Kerry arranged for this to be cooked by the chef Graham. It made the stay so much better than it already was and I felt like a VIP!! The room was amazing and super comfy beds, really good location for everything

Smart hotel, good location, great views from some of the rooms. It clearly has been updated in the room we stayed in as the ensuite was clean and modern, the shower was excellent. The only thing that let this down was the secondary glazing was covered in condensation between the old.and new and subsequently the room and curtains suffered from mold. It's got to be an old building so not much you can do about that. It was December when we stayed so it can be expected. Breakfast was excellent but I would avoid the mushrooms. There is parking but you have to pay and it is first come first served. It

Staff polite but distant. room clean generally but tea tray was dirty/stained. Replaced when mentioned. Fairly basic amenities but £48 for the night so bearable for the price. Restaurant and bar was quite expensive so went elsewhere.

The hotel room was lovely and clean with a gorgeous view . However checking in at 3 pm with a blonde receptionist who was extremely rude , not friendly in any way. We had issue with our room door, when we asked for help she was not happy to help. The other girls at reception were extremely helpful and we were seen to in seconds by them.
Great location over all of the hotel.

Great location, only a short walk from the docks. Check in was busy, we arrived at 3pm. We had to queue for about 20 minutes but once seen, the staff were very friendly and helpful. The room was nice and also clean. Bed was comfy. We had a coffee machine in our room but no pods to be used with it (not sure if you have to request these or whether it's a different room upgrade option). I also could not get the safe to work. Breakfast was good, very quick and easy. Check out was fast as we only had to drop our key in the check out box.
