The word rumal means handkerchief in Urdu and Hindi, and the name rumali roti means handkerchief bread. The extreme thinness of the bread and the fact that it is usually served folded like a handkerchief are the probable reasons behind the name. The bread is usually made with a combination of whole and white wheat flours and best cooked in a tandoor.

I visited here last night with family for special celebration keeping in mind that our last experience was really good.
But the food quality spoils the mood.
Ontray: Aallo chat was not good as it was we tasted before. Soya champ: don't assume it is that tandoori soya champ with rich cream. We were served with fried nutrela chunks with onion and capsicum.
Main: Chana masala: I am wondering how this restaurant can serve that kind of Chana masala we had. Very pathetic. It is of same kind we can get street side food in India. Did not expect that from Maharaja Haveli.

Friendly staff, stunning location and yummy Indian food... all big ticks for an awesome birthday party or just catch up with friends any time of the day... I have been to this restaurant many times. The access to lake is a cherry on top. Walk around the lake on a pleasant day is really theropatic and good for passing time counting ducks, checking out fish or just staring beautiful sky.
The menu appeals both veg/non-veg food lovers with a range of items in all categories - entree, mains and desserts. If you are in search of fine dine Indian restaurant then look no further.. this can be your best

This is set in the complex in century circuit next to a manmade lake, hence the name. It's the third time I've been here. The food has been outstanding on each occasion. The tandoori platter, nawabi kebab and haraa kabab were excellent. The malai kabab was exceptional! The mains were multani subzi.... A complex vegetarian dish, tasty but lacked spice. The kadai paneer was the best main dish we had there. The roomali roti was very good but the onion kulcha was outstanding. Great pistachio kulfi. The gulab jamun was ruined by the grated coconut topping. Jal jeera spicy and refreshing. Will come here
