Il Lago Italian Restaurant is located at the Norwest Business Park at Baulkham Hills. Il Lago Italian Restaurant is a successful family owned and operated restaurant which has been pleasing local and business customers since opening in Norwest in 2004.
With over 30 years of experience within the Hills district, Julian Corsini and Gianbattista Plebani have managed to establish here a modern rendition of Northern Italian Cuisine, with culture and warmth.Head Chef Steven Yeomans, backed by 14 years of experience within numerous of 'hatted' Sydney restaurants, has created a spectacular menu offering authentic Italian specialties.

The location itself looks good,
Unfortunately I can't say the same for the food.
We order 3 entrees and they forgot one of them.
We specify We would share but the calamari portion was so tiny we could only have 2 bite each almost, they were also so hard to chew that they look like chewing gum.
We did order 2 pizzas and the dough was really salty.
The lamb was supposed to be slow cooked instead was just boiled.
Overall the eating experience was bad.

An italian restaurant that has a great view. The menu is mostly italian authentic food. I enjoyed the general ambience of the restaurant. The food was mostly good, the pasta was the only plate that I didn't find that exciting. The prawns were amazing. The lead waiter was not very friendly though, he wasn't very welcoming, though the other waiters were very nice. It was very crowded and you have to have a reservation. It is a bit expensive, you would end up paying 250ish per family. Overall we had fun and I think I would go again.

Lovely waterfront Italian restaurant, serving amazing house-made pastas amongst other great dish, by attentive and caring staff.
We had a lunch on a sunny Saturday and have been wowed all the way through. In particular their house made pumpkin agnolotti was really something special. Sweet and creamy pumpkin oozed out from agnolotti and went well with buttery sauce. Crunchy almonds kept the texture interesting.
Wine by bottle felt inexpensive and helped keeping the bill lower than expected after going through two bottles.

Although i think this place is just a tad overpriced i do rate the food. I would give 4.5 stars if i could. Just cant give 5 due to the prices but hey you get what u pay for. Pizzas are delicious and the wines great too. Staff are super friendly. Well worth a visit as i have thoroughly enjoyed everything ive eaten here

Il Lago is easily the best restaurant on the edge of Norwest Lake. Its set up with heaps of indoor seating but also a great outdoor area that overlooks the lake and is still undercover.
The food is great value and I've never had a bad meal here. The menu isn't at all pretentious like some of the other restaurants on that strip who try a little too hard to be posh.
I've been there in both large groups and with just one other and the service has always been great as well.
I would have given it 5 stars but on my last visit I had an unpleasant experience with the one of the waiters
