Castle Taj

Food is always amazing, but what truly separates this place is their service. Even during the pandemic, where maintaining staff is hard, they are still open and prioritie customer service.

It was a special occasion and I needed some great Indian food. Castle Taj was the place for me. I ordered lots of yummy stuff - methi chicken, chettinad chicken, bhuna gosht, bread basket, pappadoms and some creamy mango lassi. They even gave me some complimentary rice.
There was enough for all and some to spare for the next day. Delicious food and I recommend it to all.

Ordered delivery last night it was on schedule and just perfect! Could not fault our meals they were delicious!!
Lentil Dahl, chicken tikka and lamb korma! All 10/10! Will definitely be ordering again or eating in! Thank you :)

Been coming here on a regular basis for over a year and it never disappoints. We try something new on the menu every time and it's making it harder to pick just a couple of things as its all so delish. Best Indian restaurant by far. Friendly staff, clean inside and a lot of good options to pick from.

One of the best if not the best Indian restaurant we've been to and we have been to a lot. For starters we had Gobi Manchurian , garlic and cheese naan. Followed by our favourite Paneer Tikka Masala, and Methi Chicken as suggested by our host Vijay.
Food was was delicious and very friendly staff.
Highly recommend it.
We will be back.

Everytime I order delivery from this place, the order is delayed by 2 hours, and every single time they blamed it on Uber Eats staff. While the same uber staff deliver food much faster from restaurants right next to Castle Taj. Something doesn't add up. I used to like their food but now their food quality and taste has become very poor.

Great food. But unfortunately arrogance from staff let this place down. For all the Indian food lovers in case you want to enjoy your evening, please look around there are better alternatives than Castle Taj in terms of similar or better quality food and most importantly level of hospitality on offer.

I always liked the food from this restaurant but the last order was really bad. One dish was totally spoiled and bad in taste and others were not the same taste as before
.I called the restaurant to inform and advise not to use the spoiled item for other customers. The person on phone confirmed the dish is more sour than usual and possible mixed up with another dish. He also said he will be sending a text but i never recieved the same. Not sure if they take feedback seriously or not.

My hubby once did take away and we liked the taste so visited again for our dinner take away.
We ordered 2 butter chicken with 4 naans same as last time but this time I presented 10 percent coupon which was given last time take away order. The girl in the front didn't know what to do so asked to the guy (looks like either manager or owner) who was busy to put a incense and do some kind of religious practice. They guy then told us we won't get the rice if we use the coupon. I asked how much is the rice and he said it is about 5 dollars.
Why do they even give and promote 10 percent if you are going

This was my second time visiting this place and not going to lie the food taste was same as the first time. I believe that is what made me visit again. The restaurant staff are very nice specially the manger was making sure we enjoyed the place.

Nice food though I'm not keen on Indian food, great service. very pleasant.

Positives - Service very good. FoH staff very pleasant. Ambience good.
Cons - Menu expensive and the portion size and taste does not justify the cost.
Have been here 6+ years ago, and had a pleasant experience then.
But, this time unfortunately in the curry dish found couple of pebbles.
Staff were apologetic and even offered a 10% discount voucher for next time.
But, unfortunately we won't be going there anytime soon.
