A well planned and designed system improves quality of life and reduces detrimental environmental impacts. We have extensive experience in planning, design and management of all land base modes of transport with effective integration of these various modes.
Argot Consultants and its staff have extensive experience in designing, planning and implementing roads. Our projects include design of subdivisional roads, reconstruction of arterial, local roads, collector roads and streetscapes. Naturally, road design includes stormwater management, lighting, pedestrian, bicycle and abutting land use, consideration and design.
Our clients include Metro Trains, Department of Transport (VIC), VLINE, VICTRACK, Yarra Trams & DTEI (SA) to name a few who have engaged us on significant and varying rail related projects. We have designed and delivered in excess of 200 tram platforms around Australia, including innovating most of the platform styles used within this sector.
Argot Consultants are recognised as leaders in providing innovative engineering services for urban renewal projects. The complexities in such Brownfield projects are significant such as; space constraints, existing utility services, abutting landholders, traffic, parking, pedestrians etc. In such developments/renewals the solution really seeks to enhance and/or alter human behaviour.
