Our facilities have been designed to cater for all small animal veterinary needs, including 6 consult rooms, a designated 'quiet waiting room' for anxious animals, 2 fully equipped operating theatres, an extensive surgical preparation and treatment area, radiology, intensive care and isolation facilities, a large reception and retail area, two separate cat and dog wards, small animal boarding, and in-house pathology.

At Brunker Road Veterinary Centre we are superbly equipped to provide the most advanced care for critical patients. Facilities include heated cages, oxygen chamber, piped oxygen thoughout the hospital wards, blood transfusion equipment and comprehensive monitoring equipment.
Arthroscopy in dogs and cats has traditionally been performed only in specialist surgical centres. BRVC has invested in extensive training and a wide array of high quality Storz arthroscopy equipment providing pet owners in the Newcastle and Hunter region with access to this advanced diagnostic and surgical modality.
Book a pet behaviour consultation with one of our experienced and caring vets in Newcastle. Behavioural problems are the most frequently reported complaints to a veterinarian from a pet owner. Have 2x furbabies that have been going to Brunker Road vets for almost 8 years now. They are the only people and place that can help me with kitty who is not a fan a vet visits and they make it bearable for her everytime. And they saved her life when she was a kitten. I will be forever grateful 🙏 and my puppy Tk, absolutely loves going to visit eveytime!! Highly recommend Brubker Road vets, they are affordable, professional and compassionate what more could you want in a vet!

Their genuine love and interest for your pet , not just the drs but the nurses and those at the front desk. Always very friendly and helpful and discuss things in length and detail. Your consultation is never rushed and you and your pet feel very much at ease. Our pets have never backed away and not wanted to enter on their visit,

I've been taking my 2 dogs, a border collie and a kelpie, to Brunker Road Vet for years now and would highly recommend them to anyone. They are always so friendly, professional and very reassuring. Even my dogs don't mind visiting which is saying something!

Decent clinic, they have helped our terrier with a mild Bee sting reaction and allergies. This is a very busy and largish clinic so there are are few days to wait for an appointment. We’ve had good experiences and they’ve done the job, however the vibe isn’t as personable as other smaller clinics, very transactional.

Tiarna was just lovely when I consulted her on my beautiful 14 year old dog Charli having to be put down due to his bad health. Tiarna went through everything with me in detail answered all my questions and was really compassionate and reassuring, on the day her professionalism and genuine care was outstanding. After a traumatic visit to the emergency vet on Thursday night, I rang Brunker Road Vet Centre on Friday morning to get a quote on putting our beloved cat to sleep. The receptionist who took my call was so kind I already decided to use them before I even got the cost. When I spoke to the vet later that day she said, "you're doing the right thing". The vet wouldn't have known it, but I really needed to hear that. I actually really needed to hear that from the emergency vet the night before. Our beloved rescue cat was at least 15 years old and was already suffering from existing health issues. She
