Kimberley, Nicole and Perin met while studying Veterinary Science through the University of Sydney and had an ambitious dream of one day opening a practice together. After nine years working on three different continents, the girls all came to work in Newcastle and planning for Edgeworth Animal Medical Centre commenced.
All cats and dogs must be microchipped by 12 weeks of age or before being sold or given away. They must also be registered with the NSW Pet Registry by 6 months of age which involves a once off payment. This payment will be discounted if your pet has been de-sexed. We will update the. Amy has been one of our core team members since the beginning of EAMC in 2014. Amy has a certificate IV in veterinary nursing and has been nursing since 2005. Keep in mind this is a US based site so not all the information is relevant to our pets here in Australia but still an excellent source of quality information.

I couldn’t recommend this vet practice enough!! My girl Maple was transferred to Edgeworth vets after my bunny was electrocuted and my work recommending them since the vets at my work don’t specialise in… bunnies. The whole team went above and beyond for my girl and if it weren’t for them, I may not have my baby right now! Dr Lily kept in touch during her stay in hospital and I also received a photo of Maple from nurse Kiarni. Thank you to the entire team for looking after my bunny, I’ll definitely be back! Also Maple says thank you very much for looking after her

I meant to post this review month's ago. The people that work here are amazing. They worked tirelessly to save my fur baby and when things looked bleak they comforted me through my tears. My bunny wouldn't be alive right now if it wasn't for the amazing staff who worked through every possible avenue to save her and provide her with the best care possible. They left no stone unturned and even if the worst had of happened, it would have meant saving her was impossible because I seen just how hard they were trying and it meant the world to me. I cannot fault any part of the process at Edgeworth! Super friendly staff, all invested in the proper care of your furry or feathered babies. Awesome little selection of speciality diet food, regular food & toys - not just for cats and dogs but birds too!

Thank you to the wonderful team who last Saturday saved our Baxter’s life. We had not been there before but I arrived with one very sick little dog and Perin saw him straight away and commenced what turned out… to be life saving treatment. Highly recommend Edgeworth Animal Medical Centre.
My brothers-in-law puppy injured his leg, called on a Sunday and got in for the next day for x-rays and assessments and was booked for the following day for… operation! My fur baby is very scared of vets and the vets at Edgeworth Animal Medical Centre went above and beyond to make the vet visit a positive experience for him! The staff are so lovely and so friendly!
